Dual Pricing. (yes another thread on it)
My younger Thai stepson who has only a Thai passport and has only ever been out of Thailand for two weeks of his life was charged farang price going onto Kho Samet because he has lighter skin. The lady at the counter was having none of it! It is racist!

Rising VAT to 10% Announced by Thai Finance Minister
To expand on my previous comment, if 70,000,000 people spend 100 THB per day on VAT included transactions that is 98,000,000 THB per day and 35,770,000,000 THB per year in increased Govt. revenue.

I'm A Chronic Acid Reflux Sufferer.
I was on Patoprazole for years and it worked, until I stopped. I take magnesium because I sweat heavily. This helps with the acid but also calms the nerves to reduce anxiety which can cause GERD. Been off all medication since.

Western Food - when only this will do !
90% of the time I eat Thai and Isan food. I'm not scared to try something different and my friends and family in Thailand say I 'eat easy'. Eaten some really funky things and enjoyed a lot of them. Very occasionally I get a hankering for western food, go get it and regret it 😆

93 Dead, 575 Injured in Two Days of New Year Road Crashes
Use this link https://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/cause-of-death/road-traffic-accidents/by-country/ to find actual statistics. The worst countries are mainly African. Thailand is #47 on the list of fatalities per 100,000 ppl. India #90, China #96 although in those countries many people don't have access to vehicles, and probably under report. USA # 120, Australia #158, Germany #170, UK #173. All out of 183 listed.
