  1. I uploaded a 3 month bank statement from kbank (not from the app) that I paid 100 baht for in Thai. Also lucky I took a photo copy of the house book with my son’s name on. They asked for this for additional documents. I only showed the page with his name on not the other page with the actual address. The page with his name on has the house registration number on it. Anything else please ask
  2. Yes I took my phone to embassy that Monday after I submitted. I didn’t see the button to click QR code as I find the evisa wensite not very good when using your iPhone. Spoke to security Thai guy at in the box just inside the front gate and he clicked download QR code. He then directed me to the left to print service under the tree about 10 metres away. Forget the agents. Cost 5000kip and then took it back into embassy and paid. All very easy once you know.
  3. Uploaded application Monday morning Additional document required Tuesday morning which was house book with child’s name. Added it and couple of hours later application changed to pending approval. Friday 3pm visa approved. Just letting you know my timescale if anyone doing the same as me soon. Cheers
  4. Judt update. Had to re submit application as the one from yesterday mysteriously vanished. You do not have to wait for the embassy to email you a QR code. As soon as you proceed to payment you instantly get a QR code on the evisa website. Could be a new thing but definitely don’t hang around waiting as you won’t get a an email from Thai embassy Vientiane.
  5. My visa application has vanished from the website even I got a reference number yesterday This sucks
  6. The resetting per calendar year isn’t true as I just left Thailand today after using my non o visa and they said I won’t be allowed back unless I get another one non o. This was Nong khai border. Lots and lots of people got sent like me to other room for questioning.
  7. Thanks guys really appreciated for your help.
  8. Ok thanks So I’ll get an email tomorrow or whenever. So don’t go to embassy until I receive QR code? It’s just confusing as my evisa portal still says ready to submit when I’ve already done that.
  9. Sorry it says proceed to payment. Nothing via email to show if I go embassy Monday
  10. I have just submitted my non o visa application and it has now said pending payment. I haven’t received anything via email but have a visa reference number in my ready to submit part of the evisa website. What do I do now? Wait for email or go to embassy and quote the number? Bit confused to be honest
  11. Thanks for the reply. i was recommended to get a bank statement from the bank rather than app earlier in the thread so was planning on doing it that way.
  12. Bringing this topic back up as I’ll be travelling to Nong Khai from Bangkok on Saturday January 3rd then crossing into Laos early Sunday morning. Ive read banks in Thailand are closed on Friday January 2nd so I’ll only be able to get a 3 month bank statement from kasikorn on probably December 30th. I’m pretty sure that bank statement would be acceptable when applying for my non o in Vientiane? Its as close as I can get one before leaving Thailand. so bank statement December 30th evisa submission January 5th all going well. would just like to double check with anyone who has experience here. cheers
  13. The statement needs to be in English?
  14. Just checked my kbank app and it all fits on one page as I only made about 5 transactions after initial large deposit so that’s good. Yes I could use the downloaded statement via the kbank app. Going to get a paper one is no problem though as I have small k bank branch literally opposite my apartment. They give a stamp on the statement so it’s probably better than downloaded one.
  15. Yes I’m aware you can’t submit until enter Laos. The entry stamp is proof of location right? I’ve barely used the bank account with the funds in so hopefully will all fit on 1 piece of paper to make it easier to submit as from what I remember you can only attach one photo/screenshot per requirement.
  16. Hi i have a couple of k bank accounts and one of them has just over 400k sitting in there since mid August. my question is when going to Vientiane in January to apply for a non o single entry to visit Thai family (child) what’s the best way to show the 400k in the bank for the evisa application. Latest bank statement via the kbank app, going to bank to get statement to photo and upload or any better way. I want to prepare my application before I leave Thailand start of January.
  17. Anyway thanks for all the help guys much appreciated 👍
  18. I’ve already put 400k in a Thai bank for no reason. Don’t want to add another 400k and do retirement when an agent can help me to make my life much easier.
  19. yes think it’s the best solution. They said she can change and extend when I’m already on my 60 day extension in September Works out best for many people 😎
  20. Apparently there is an option to extend 1 year after extending the one time 60 days? spoke to an agent who said it’s possible. my situation current non o stamp ends November 6th extend 60 days so say January 6th leave to Laos and apply for new non o lets say enter January 10th so gives me until about June 10th with 60 day extension leave again June and apply non o again Let’s say enter June 15th so I can stay until mid September. Ill hit 50 on September 26th so ill need to extend a further 60 days then in that time go see an agent so they can switch me to a retirement and get another 1 year without leaving. sounds like my best plan if everything goes as planned.
  21. Only problem is I have 2 children under 2 so impossible to stay away to long. That’s why original plan was 1 year extension until I found out it’s not possible. might have to do a non o with extension. Then fly out next time and pay a for a safe entry. Then after that go get a non o again for child then an agent can sort out the rest once I’m 50 next September. thought about METV but surely going from non o to METV to non o again may raise eyebrows.
  22. Yes METV could be another option thanks. just main concern is if immigration can still refuse entry even you have a visa. They might see lots of non o visas as abuse. Like why not get a year extension. maybe im over thinking and worrying to much. i just cant wait until I hit 50 an agent to help me rather than all this stress. 👍
  23. I have another question. if i was to leave thailand every 5 months to apply for a new non o single entry visa. Is this ok and won’t create any problems at the borders. I was thinking to use Vientianes evisa service. I will have to do 2 or possibly 3 new non o before I can get the over 50s retirement visa. cheers
  24. Thanks for the replies Yes that’s what I thought about the one year visa regarding kor 11 or court order. So seems like I’ll have to just extend for 60 days then leave and apply for another non o then extend. I’ll hit 50 in 12 months time so just switch to a retirement which seems a lot less hassle. Todd, thanks for letting me know all the documentation I need to take to immigration tomorrow. Will start to get them photocopied today. The only thing I don’t have is house book but I have a copy of it which shows the mothers and child’s names registered to it. would that be ok ?
