Look at Ao Manao and the southern part (best) of Hua Hin then. Good natural parks and golf. Central Hua Hin is girly bars, horses pooing on beach. North beach gets washed out at high tide. The southern beaches are best.

Kamala is popular now. Go further north for bell end free zone.

Nothing much to do there. Lack of culture. NP and tourist stuff. For nature near beach pkk/ Ao Manao would be my pick. Just south of Hua Hin. Krabi has nature but crap food except seafood. I prefer meat.

I like Khon Kaen. Better food than Hua Hin and cheaper. Hua Hin has good seafood and beaches. Not much culture or anything else special. What do you want to do each day?

Why not eat it first then walk out? Beef is beef. Hard to get food poisoning so undercooked to taste is no big deal. A chip is a chip. Just eat it. Pay no tip. I had a Boston bbq in Udon. Was so nice. About 300 baht. One of the best meals Ive had in Thailand. Udon also has French and Spanish food. Sure no beach but they have hotel pools. If you want to experience great food at cheap prices and nice locals go there. Also some of the best coffee and cakes Ive had. I would never both with Samet again. Small dull island with obviously crap food and people.

Some of them make good money and the best gear.
