You could do the application on the 6th and pick up your passport on the 7th. If you applied on the 7th you would not get your passport back until the 11th.

Public holidays in december(Embassy/consulate closures) what i can find is Dec 3 rd(Lao national day) and dec 5(Thailand). So the thai consulate in vientaine will be open on december 6 and 7? Again many thanks.

I have 4 single entry TR in my passport,2 from my homecountry and 2 from vientaine.

I need 2 moore and as i understand i can get another one at vientaine(in december) and last one from savanakhet(in februari),going back to europe april 2019 so i can provide ticket out and bank statement at savanakhet,would this plan work out? Other location recomendations?

We have a classic isaan style house(concrete at 1 st floor and the old wood house put above as a 2 nd floor). I'm interested in replacing the old wood house and build a 2 nd floor of concrete also,is it possible? The walls on 1 st floor is made by blocks(rather thin 10/12 cm). My idea is to extend the thickness of the walls on 1 st floor(maybee double) and then make a concrete floor(2 nd),walls and roof. Anyone done this before,is it possible? Any ideas,input,links are much welcome.

A1 bus from bts morchit to don muang,excellent and faster than a taxi(the bus always takes the tollway),use the same bus for airport-bts morchit as well,30 bht.

just applied this morning at the consulate in vientaine and can confirm this is the only one they accept.

is the visa form you can print from the thai counsulate vientaine website up to date and they accept it? (tourist visa). Thanks

Im using kasikorn bank but they don’t allow me to do international transfer money out of country without having a work permit.

Does anybody have the experience/succes with another bank without the requirment of a work permit for international transfers?

i can only find that 26 oct is a national holiday,that mean they will stay open at chaeng wattana on fri 27 during the Royal Cremation period(oct25-29)?

visa(TR) expire on 29 th oct,if i go lets say 23 or 24 oct,will i loose a few days of the extension or they start counting from the 29 th anyway?
