    And not to mention that the 2 dudes could have contacted the police and let them handle it. Taking the law in your own hands doesn't make it right.

    I wouldn't say completely unsafe, however the 2 thais could have handled it better. In the western countries, those two men would be charged as premeditated murder. Regardless that the Brit dude may be a fool, however it doesn't warranted a death sentence. This latest incident is a drop of the hat as there's more similar situation as this one. It does happen more frequently than what's being told on the news.

    I hope India doesn't go nuclear over this. This is something that Thailand need to keep in mind. Indians are known to use force if any of their people gets hurt. A benefit of being a superpower in the region.

    That's true. In America and most western countries still believe into woman's virtue. It's expected for a woman to remain a virgin before her wedding night. It's common beliefs among men that when a woman been around, her market value drops to near zero. Which is why women in those countries obsessed with "sex appeal" to regain what was lost. Of course that was futile attempt. We men are much smarter than to fall for woman's delusions.
