LeRoux replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I manage a chronic condition that I have that is in this direction, as far as symptoms etc. / I, unwillingly learned much more on this topic than I had desired to. (The main point, always keep an eye on the dehydration. It will sneak up on you, and its over. ~ ~ Especially in the case of Children in your care.) -

His own slow reaction seems to have been his undoing. Sounds like an over-reaction to a local bacteria, and then no actions taken to ward off dehydration. If others noticed it was a slow onset, with time to react. -

Community Naked Foreign Man Escapes Hospital, Runs Amok in Pattaya Streets
LeRoux replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Countries need a couple of interlinked data bases, linked to Passport or Bio-Photo. Intrusion of Privacy? Yes. BUT! how many scammers and people with mental illness histories, are simply saving enough for a deposit on a ticket, a couple-hundred dollars in the pocket, and flying off to Thailand. A solid international Database would at least give some hints at who to question further before admittance. -

Tourism Tourism Shock: Thailand's Visitor Numbers See Alarming Plunge

With the love of Accessories from Top-Name Fashion Houses, Maybe someone like Louis Vuitton or Yves St. Laurent should come out with a line of Expensive Fashion Security Helmets. Whether on the Beach, or in the shadow of a Skyscraper, they would become a "Must-Have" Fashion Accessory! (Hailing a Ride at 3 AM? Maybe a Lifesaver!) -
My comment was tongue in cheek, BUT! your statement is very correct. He needs to pay on both a Social and Criminal Level, and not just simply buy his way out. I remember Boeing with their formulas for calculating the value of a human life when the two 737 Max's went down. It was pathetic. If I remember correctly, it even took into account the deceased person's earning capabilities in their home country. (Also, no one at Boeing spent a day in Prison, or even got their hand slapped in a noticeable manner.)

Crime British and French Tourists Clash in Phuket Nightclub Stabbing
LeRoux replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
It's Interesting. People mention a "Religion of Peace" referring to "Unknown Assailants". Should they refer to English as the "Language Of Peace"? With English being an International Standard, Anyone, speaking English, without an ID, can be labelled an Englishman. (Whether he has ever even visited England Or NOT!)🙄 -

Crime British Tenant Trashes Pattaya Rental, Landlord Seeks Legal Action
LeRoux replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
They used the word "Destroyed". I was just pointing out what "Really Destroyed" amounts to. You have a point, Concrete house, with a high-quality well sealed paint used inside, Is definitely a plus when renting to people who want to use it as a Meth Lab! (Or Yaaba Lab?)😆 -
Crime British Tenant Trashes Pattaya Rental, Landlord Seeks Legal Action
LeRoux replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
I've heard the stories out of America where they had to strip the plaster-board back to the 2x4s to get the smell of animal urine and drugs out of the house. Some houses used as Meth Labs had to be demolished. -
There simply isn't enough Info to Crucify Anyone. That doesn't stop several people here from doing so. If you don't see the cash-flows and money movements of the last 3 to 5 Years, you cannot figure anything out. It says wife (as in married). At some point in the past, he had something to offer. / It Appears, "Not Any More".
