  1. she can hire more people that is not issue, and giving me some IT or whatever position should always work right? she could use my help with many things so it could at least be official why is the humanitarian category not a viable route if we are married, have children (1 or 2)? the investment and other categories seem too brutal 😄
  2. Sorry for not being clear. I plan to get married visa soon. how long do i have to stay on this marriage visa in order to apply for PR assuming we have a child? and how much income do I need to have in order to apply for the PR under the humanitarian category. I wondered if there is lower requirement if we have children together. My wife is taking care of me financially since it is complicated to get a job so i was curious, but she has business so she can give me some work perhaps to fulfill that requirement.
  3. it expires around June 14 or something and apparently I need to apply for change 21 days before the visa ends so its impossible for the 400k full two months requirement. I can meet it for visa expiration date but not to have some time space between Do you think if I deposited today, took the 6 months ED extension in june and applied for the 1 year marriage extension week after that would work?
  4. I am married with baby on the way, if I change to marriage visa, how long to wait in order to be eligible to apply for PR. Is it regular 3 years or lower if I have child and married? and what is the necessary income I need to have. Can my wife employ me with some low wage in order to be eligible? how much is that? is 20-30k enough?
  5. I am on education extension, i had 1 year extension before and this time they gave me 6 months extension and can give me 6 months more extension in June if I want. it is university not a language course.
  6. Hello everyone. I am currently on university ED visa which expires on June 20 which I can get it extended easily for 6 months but I want to get marriage visa already since I have married here in Thailand, the school said it is not a problem for them. I am wondering how is it with converting. Is it possible to convert university ED visa to the 3 months marriage visa now so I have time to put 400k into bank and then convert that into 12 months visa? I do not want to leave thailand at all. I know its best to go to immigration but they are often in hurry and its far and I failed to reach the bkk branch over the phone. I want to know what to expect so I prepare and plan well. I would like to extend for 12 months directly but I would not meet the 2 months 400k in bank requirement on-time as it would come to my bank today (eligible June 5) but i would not be able to meet the 21 days prior to visa conversion date to give them time for issuing the visa. I will appreciate any advices, thank you very much in advance guys.
