Condo prices are ridiculously poor value. Then you have taxes, transfer and assoc fees. The bottom end is dropping. I see same condos advertised for years. Most condos cost less than half to rent over buying. Yeah, in the end you have the asset .. after decades and what is that worth?? There are SO many problems with these condo as well. Not only the typical, but totally random one off stuff as well much do to poor build, quality

On the earthquake thread I was very skeptical about condos being checked. I'd swore I'd never buy especially after quake. That's still true - but I read in the post that Thailand does apparently have thousands of engineers that could and have already inspected buildings. I look about a lot of the cheap structures in my BKK neighborhood and don't see damage. I think my comments were a bit negative, cynical assuming the story correct. Very disappointed I couldn't make simple calls, Line was down. Government sent no instruction to public. I really had hope about this latest government, but I'm so disappointed. But hey... Thailand is getting casinos and online gambling 👍👍 for the poor to offload their pittances to the Chinese and Sino Thai. 🙄
