  1. my thought: You are considering moving a family to Pattaya........are you insane?
  2. cant see the problem, what are people crying about? the app is so simple to use, a child could do it.
  3. stay in Barcelona, its healthier there
  4. i recommend that you do some research on payment options. I pay for nearly everything in Vietnam either by Google Pay, or by bank transfer from my Wise account to the receiving account in Vietnam. So simple a kid could do it
  5. I am sure she will be thrilled when she reads your comments
  6. I really wish they would just shut up talking about this ridiculous subject. just forget it and get on with life for goodness sake. dont they think we have suffered enough from all this ridiculous bs?
  7. that is not the Hua Hin that I live in and i have been here for years. the locals will try it on at times, especially in the fruit market, but just buy stuff with the price on it.
  8. internet is fantastic in Vietnam, certainly in Da Nang. Free wifi in every shop, cafe, even on the beach. Have you ever driven Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, is that a great road? roads are comparable in both countries. i go to Vietnam half the year, never experienced a power cut.
  9. i do 6 months in Thailand and Vietnam Thailand miles ahead in quality accomodation, but i think more expensive. Mold is very common in Vietnam accom, its very difficult to find a room without it. Road traffic is dangerous in Thailand, but a fraction of the level of danger in Vietnam, and the constant horn blowing can drive you crazy. Food is fifty fifty........with Thailand slightly better if i was to make a choice. Hygiene in Vietman, not great.........spitting in the streets is very common and disgusting. Yes the thais do it, but not like Vietnam. Da Nang is not cheap, but i would not say expensive. Beaches are fifty fifty. Visa in Vietnam, extremely easy, very cheap, be it the 45 day stamp, or the 90 day e visa. Thailand visa, not hard, but more of a pain in the arse, and no 90 day reports in Vietnam both have a lot going for them...........medical care, a lot cheaper in Vietnam, and i found it to be of extremely high quality, both from the staff and the medical facility. I am buying my meds I need from Vietnam now, half the price of Thailand (anti coagulants, beta blocker). all in all, Thailand still gets my vote for quality of life, but time will tell
  10. i met Chad at a car meet a few years back, really is a nice bloke. Very sociable, not up his own arse.
  11. Paddy Doyle, Mat Armstrong, Chris Slix, Saving Salvage, Paul Thorpe, Gabby Cabby, Fast Jet Performance, Dan Wootton, True Sports for Premiership highlights, Bein Sports for Euro highlights, thats enough for now
