  4. Hello again...so sorry to bother u again...but i'm a little worried...today i talked with my lover, and seem he asked some info to the goverment about this thing...and they say it's gotta be a company that hire me, not a natural person...i will paste the conversation here:

    MY LOVER=

i called to the goverment 's organiztaion they working about the outsider working permition here

    MYSELF=

    oh

    MY LOVER=

and they told me i must be a company who have money when subscript company 2 millions bath up

and i check about that 50000 bath tax on goverment website

it's mean if i hire u i have to pay the goverment 50000 bath

SO....WHAT DO YOU THINK? WHY THEY TOLD HIM LIKE THIS?

  5. Hello all, I would love to know some answers to my questions, if u can answer all of them I would be so grateful!!! Ok, thing is like this...I'm from argentina, 21 years old, and I'm gonna travel in the 11th marh to BKK, thailand, and arrive there at 13th mach at 10:30 am I think...I have my VOA for 90 days countin from that day, and my plane ticket back is 85 days after i arrive, if i don't pay 100 usd more to expand it 1 more month...I will be staying with a family in their house that 3 months, and I wanna stay in thailand cuz I fell in love there...I'm planning to work in that house as a chef, so now i'm studying cook arts here, because i don't wanna get a WP and don't do the job i register for...so now this are my questions...

    1) After I arrive...what is the first thing i have to do, concerning to get the WP?

    2) what are the necessary papers and documents?

    3) how long does it take?

    4) if i have to go out of the country to get the permission...wich one do u recommend right now?

    5) how long is the WP valid for? what kind of visa do i get and for how much time? how often do i have to renew both?

    6) if i wanna change my job later cuz i find other one, what should i do? what's the procedure?

    7) do i have to have copies from my highschool diplomas or education here in argentina, before i get there? or they take it for granted that i have an education here?

    8) if i get this WP and visa extension for 3 years...and learn thai language and thai culture, can i apply for the residence permit with this?

    9) do the owner of the house (my employer) have to pay special taxes cuz i'm foreign guy? or same than any work and any employee?

    10) can i study and work at same time? do i get 2 different visas at same time? or i have to do one thing or the other in different moments? what's the procedure for this too?

Ok, that are my questions for now, sorry to make it long, but if u can answer all this, i will be completely gratefullllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks a lot, love

  6. THANKS A LOT FOR THE INFO!!! now I have some more hope about staying in thailand in a long term, I apreciate ur time to answer me!!!

But I have a question....If this way is not so hard to get a work permit (just have someone pay the taxes and want to hire u and get some documents, etc) why everybody that have work permit troubles or want to stay in thailand don't do this way? I think it would be the ending of their problems....so if it's that easy, why everybody don't do it?

  7. Ok, let's say I don't know how to be an assistant, or a manager, or don't even know what a motivator do in his job...and don't know how to cook...but what i mean is, only with asking for a work permit of any of that jobs, even if i don't know how to do them, can i get the permit? do the goverment check in some way if i really do the job i appy the work persmission for? or that's the problem of the employer and the goverment don't get involved? cuz i just want to have the permission to stay at first with my BF for a long time cuz i wil stay in his house, not to get money, until i can study some thai language and find a real job i could do and stay there and get money to have a normal and legal life in thailand...

  8. I've read the post about the nanny job and i got really surprised about this could be actually done...and I read u said something about cook...so my question is...let's say I stay in my boyfriend's house, and I wanna apply for a work permit as a cook chef (even if i don't know how to cook) can I do it? do I need the same requirements as for a nanny? I would appreciatte ur information...Thanks!!!!

  9. Hello, as some of u may know, I'm gay and I will travel to Bangkok to be with the love of my life...I've been looking for job possibilities and a lot of ways to stay, but it's seems really hard (not impossible, but hard) but just in case I can't get a job or a place to study there, I would like to know if gay people can have a legal marriage, cuz today an american friend living there (he have a thai wife) told me this:

My thai wife is telling me "i guarantee no problem you could get married here as a gay couple, you just have to know what ampur (gov't office) will be friendly to you, but it has been done in thailand, i have seen it in the newspapers,"

So if u have any information, I will apreciate it, thank u so much.

    Love, Leon

  10. Hello, my name is Leandro, I already made another post about 90 days VOA, now I want to know about all the requirements to be an employee there and obtain a work permission...let's say a guy there sell t-shirts with his friend (both of them are thai)...so...

1 - can he register as a company? even if he don't have a factory?

2 - what kind of requirements do he need? need some initial capital?

3 - can he hire foreign people?

    4 - it's ok if have 2 thais and 1 foreign?

5 - what's the minimun salary he have to pay to me? and what about the taxes?

6 - is an assistant in a sales shop a job that foreign are admitted to do?

I hope u can help me with this questions, appreciate ur help,

    Love, Leon

  11. Thank u so much for ur reply....so rules will change again in 3 months? I hope they change for good then...by the way, when i said "I would like to know if I can do the 3 visa runs after my 90 days finish so I don't have to go out for 3 days and can stay the whole year there..." I meant 3 months, not 3 days, sorry folks :o

I would love to hear more opinions about this. Thank u so much to all.

  12. Hello, my name is Leandro and I'm from argentina...and I have a question for u, I hope someone can help me with this one...argentina, as long with some other countries of south america, can get a 90 days VOA instead the more common 30 days VOA that other countries get, because argentina is one of the little countries that let thai people come over here without a tourist visa...so my question is, when I go there and get that 90 days on my arrival, when my time is up, can I get out of the country and get 90 more days? Cuz everybody tal about the 30 days VOA (that u can do 3 visa runs so u can get 90 days in total and then get out for other 3 months before entering again) but in my case I get 90 days without any visa run so I would like to know if I can do the 3 visa runs after my 90 days finish so I don't have to go out for 3 days and can stay the whole year there...

Thank you so much, I hope somebody can help me...

    Love to all,

    Leon
