Section 15 of the Thai Computer Crime Act (CCA) outlines the liability of service providers for offenses committed under Section 14. Specifically, it states that if a service provider intentionally supports or consents to an offense under Section 14 within a computer system under their control, they will be subject to the same penalties as the primary offender" "In simpler terms: If a service provider (like an internet provider, website host, or even a company with an internal network) knowingly allows or helps someone commit a computer crime (like those listed in Section 14), they can be punished just as severely as the person who directly committed the crime. " So correct me if i am wrong. But Guesthouse are required to monitor your actives. I have personally seen large computer systems in small guesthouses offices, which seem to be used record actives such as full urls. They have somesort of spy way on their routers. "

The government actively monitors social media and private communications with limited, if any, oversight. A complex set of policies aims to control online communication, but the country does not have a legal framework that establishes accountability and transparency mechanisms for government surveillance. Sections 18(1) to 18(3) of the CCA allow the government to access user-related or traffic data without a court order and to compel ISPs to decode programmed data.134 Government agencies possess a variety of surveillance technologies. In July 2022, an investigation from Citizen Lab, iLaw, and Digital Reach identified at least 30 Thai human rights defenders, prodemocracy protestors, and monarchy-reform activists whose devices were infected with Pegasus spyware.135 The investigation was prompted after Thai politicians, activists, and academics received emails from Apple in November 2021 notifying them that “state-sponsored attackers” may have targeted their iPhones.136 Following this, the MDES minister admitted that some Thai government departments have been using Pegasus spyware for “national security” and to combat drug trafficking. https://freedomhouse.org/country/thailand/freedom-net/2024#C

I look the dirty looks Thai give me. They don't both with you and at least it is more honest. -
Do you feel that Thai's snoop on you? like your neighbor or guesthouse workers are violating you privacy because they are paranoid of everyone especially farangs? "Following suspicions from neighbours about a man who seemed to own luxury motorcycles without a visible job, police arrested a man known as Ball in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Officers discovered..." It seems to just takes one phone call and they will breaking down your door. I wonder how many times this happens and someone is innocent?

I won't trust wise or any of these fly by night fake banks. -
There are two guys who have been staying for months in my guesthouse. There are totally weird and suspicious. They never leave their rooms. White as ghosts. Claim to speak no English and avoid all contact with the outside world.. Maybe hackers. Certainly suspicious. They avoid at all costs never talk to each other...except once. I am not dumb. They know each other too. These guys are hiding something!

He precipitated in some protests i think. Immigration sort of makes stuff up. They just say your evisa isn't valid or you overstayed. India government is bit paranoid of foreigners. Karl paints Indians in a bad light as scammers. You can see he is always trying to say good things about India in his videos lately. It is a special taste India, some great places and laid back people who speak English. Serious problems with pollution and rubbish. It is not so hot like Thailand, has long wide beaches, cool mountain retreats. A lot things Thailand does not offer.

No i wasn't arrested. I applied for a e-biz visa which was granted but when i arrived at the airport they check the invitation letter i had submitted and decided it was invalid. Then after a hours of back and forth they rejected me and blacklisted me. I have no idea for how long, probably a year or more. There is no mark in in pp or anything. Blacklist in India is a secret list but i will show up in the computer if i tried to enter. I think also in Nepal and SL. It means i am basically being watched as a suspicious person. Karl Rock was blacklisted for 500 days.

I got blacklisted from India for a minor issue. Do Thai customs and immigration see this on their screens? I was thinking of applying for the 5 year Nomad visa, will this hamper my application?
