You bathe your cat? Never did mine. They clean themselves. And always slept with me, too. Too much shampoo will dry their skin out. And you clean his bottom? They do that themselves, too. But get him to a vet for vaccinations. Sorry, don't know any in BKK, but if it's only vaccines, any should be ok. Maybe 400-500 baht? Make sure you get a vaccine booklet.

Mobi, I don't believe you got two laptops. Cookie looks unamused. 555 Livin, that is one cute pup. Thai?
-
You think they sell them with the roots out just so you can repot them? Tutsi, what you been looking at all these years?
-
^ 555 I hope you don't have expensive curtains, Japh. My brood would chase each other up the curtains and then swing over to the screens where they would be stuck like those Garfields suction-cupped to car windows. Rescue them 100 times and they would never learn. Don't forget to close the bathroom door unless you want toilet paper confetti.
My dogs and cats always got along. The cats pounced on the sleeping dogs for one set of commando training.
Anyway, lovely you adopted the four, Japh. What a guy!

Didn't know Secret Garden closed, but I didn't go there much after Steve sold it. Too expensive and the chicken plate was never as good as Steve's wife made it. So, what's the exact location, HD? Near the 7-11 or?

If I offended you Jet I apologize, but I hope you got my point
555 no offense taken; what I wanted to stress was that I had my dissappointing burger at one of the original White Spots in Vancouver, not at the new shop in BKK. Many times, folks misunderstand my posts or have a different opinion.
UG has usurped snakehead, so feel free to think up another slag diminutive for me.

^ too much stress, Tutsi. that is sad tho.
-
^ Give it up to you graciously, Big U.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does Herman drive the bus?I think that is a no no for a farang to do.
True. I wondered about that...he never did before.
-
That's only a few doors down from Secret Garden, isn't it? Bangrak will be rockin on Sundays.

^ Ya, Mpd, peel them and do your brine. A bit sharp in taste, but people seem to like them.
(tutsi is at work composing a letter to a contractor who has mis-applied caulking to a gas turbine enclosure...'and we were dismayed to find that the substance had been applied in wanton fashion...'...later, the contractor in a meeting: 'and we contend that the caulking was applied carefully and not wantonly as was alleged...' isn't power station project engineering wonderful?)in a wanton fashion? Mebbe he meant won ton -- this is the food forum after all.

^ well then where the fek is Toto?

This is Thailand, no fair comparing Khun Snake Head, it is good here by taste, not Canada, heh......but taste is all to one's own and having read many of your posts, still wrong but respectful
Hey, South Park boy, I went to one of the original White Spot restaurants in VANCOUVER not f*king Thailand. That's why I was depressed.

Are you using large onions? I have never seen smaller onions in Thailand. If you use the larger onions how long do you pickle them for.
Shallots with the red skins. Fresh at the market.

did sum ribs; always a big hit wid the family...got sum beef on the go with green papaya tenderisin'...later to do sum stew...the wife's birthday today, hope it turns out OK...
(cheater???...I want to knaw the reptiles offa yer skull, thou vile and bewitching, impure and unchaste heathen... )
You misquoting Lear or Henry, you spearchucker? Don't leave the papaya on too long now, it's not like soaking kidney beans. Happy Birthday to Mrs Tutsi.

Some folks have businesses and other commitments, that's why they do one-day visa runs.

Think it's a posting job hazard.

wooden spoons, not guns. You took a break to cook something, didn't ya? Cheater.
-
Geez, that's almost half a million dollars. You let him go? No report to the police? I'd pay to find the guy. He's probably living down the road from your wife's village. Somehow, this thread smells a bit toady.
-
Sadly, I hate to report that I went to White Spot for a Triple O last week. In Vancouver. It was not the Triple O I know. I told the waitress. A travesty of dream food that was. She just asked if I wanted anything else.
-
I'm gonna tell your wifey...what's her email address? [email protected]
Go to BKK and get the feking cans.
-
OK, let's cull recipes from Norton's Anthology, shall we? Wooden spoons at dawn?
-
Some great recipes on here! Thanks, Jayenram.

Yes, what is bhaji please?
This is an onion one:

There are a number of others. Basically they are served before Indian meals as appetisers.
That's a great recipe, Jayenram, as if your beef stew with yoghurt and lime juice. I'm gonna resurrect that thread. Thanks.
