  1. You get 6 months at a time on the US tourist visa, valid for 10 years usually.
  2. Yep, they scrutinize your social media profile and can go back up to 5 years, where you will be staying etc. Backpacker tourists are getting turned-around at the border after days / weeks in county jails and detention centers. Unless you are like Disneyland or NYC shopping expect the third-degree. I've been to America under Obama and Trump and let me tell you as much as Obama was a jack-ass, Trump has made legal border crossings an absolute minefield.
  3. Good luck now though. Getting a USA tourist visa was a piece of cake in the 2000s and up to the mid 2010s, now you might as well forget it unless you have a very clean social media profile (as in zero criticism of the USA, no edge-posting or anything anti-Trump)
  4. That's becoming less and less even in 3rd world countries though.
  5. Just fortunate and never one to set land-speed records whilst riding.
  6. They've been having to be careful for a good few years let me tell you. The baht has been brutally low on the £$ for at least 10 years or so.
  7. LOL. Between 4 to 6 billion barrels of decent quality Brent Sweet crude is FAR away from having no oil.
  8. I used to ride all over Thailand in the 2000s and 2010s. I had the proper kit (leathers, decent helmet etc) and the big bike, even got the Thai bike license (now expired). Time of my life, but I think I had a guardian angel watching me as I picked up minimal injuries. Seeing this poor lad just hits home how dicey it is. I always rode 9/10 like everyone was trying to hit me which probably helped.
  9. Because the puritanicals in the USA are foaming at the mouth about people having sex under the age of 18 typically?
  10. Up and up it goes. Silver's rise is inevitable. Historically silver has always had a higher purchasing value than it's been for the past 80 years or so.
  11. Influence? Get a grip. We haven't had an empire since 1945 and you somehow think we need 'influence'? LOL. The Swiss, Singapore and other countries that keep themselves to themselves do just fine being low-key and not 'influencing'.
  12. Quite a lot if not all are in areas that aren't 'gun-free' zones, which is why spree killers choose to kill so many in them. No-one has a gun or often even a weapon of anykind to protect themselves. So along come the police to try and stop it. Mall shootings are often in 'gun free zones' as well, but some have been stopped there, and church shootings have had them eliminated promptly too. Guns aren't going back in the genie bottle so buck-up your pants.
  13. Those are for 'illegals' or people who can't get a driving license. Also they aren't 'required' as alternate id like birth-certificate etc is also used by people not wanting them. Contrast this to nanny-state monster uk where it's absolute rules typically.
  14. Translation: Vivek doesn't like RW people having opinions.
  15. He said he was going to ditch that green card lottery nonsense years ago, surprised he didn't do it back in 2017.
  16. If you're a single guy are you supposed to just 'stop' chasing?!
  17. Well playing the Sugar Daddy usually does sometimes risk this I think. It's just nowadays they are more open about their wishes to be a wild, valley of the dolls kinda woman.
  18. The Gun Free Zones are ripe targets unfortunately for crazed, political hostiles. They know no-one will shoot them so have a literal sitting duck target area. This sort of thing is going to become very common unfortunately.
  19. You are aware people in the UK can own shotguns and rifles, air rifles and even long-barreled handguns right? LOL. Unless you are literally being fed police firearm owner addresses you'd not have a clue mate.
  20. Great, as if tougher gun laws will make a jot of difference. MAYBE if people had some way to fight back instead of relying on slow-to-respond cops the bad guys would be much more liable to get a lead-injection of their own or to even not dare attacking in the first place.
  21. Something I wouldn't even give a lab rat.
  22. The baht is pretty much anchored in and won't budge no matter what happens now. The strength of it is in concert to letting people with large baht incomes have powerful spending power, and the trend seems to be for that to continue indefinately.
