  1. Preliminary report courtesy Alfred Lord Tennyson (1854) “Forward, the Light Brigade!” Was there a man dismayed? Not though the soldier knew Someone had blundered.
  2. Sure and the official report on the incident can be labeled: INCONCLUSIVE
  3. U.S. Central Command attacked the school based on long outdated coordinates for the strike provided by another defense agency, one of the officials told The Intercept. While the Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school was once connected to the IRGC base by roads, the building was partitioned off by 2016, according to an investigation by New Lines Magazine The attack, which came after a yearlong effort by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to gut programs to reduce civilian casualties, killed more civilians than any other strike in Trump’s second Iran war. It was “colossal negligence,” one of the current government officials said. https://archive.ph/grM1M#selection-727.0-731.22
  4. So everyone is a fool but ME -- Thanks for your attention to this matter: https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116196014942465383
  5. Richard Painter, an attorney who served as the chief ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush White House, said the apparent US strike “could be criminal negligence in a war that was illegal to begin with.” https://www.commondreams.org/news/preliminary-findings-iran-school-bombing
  6. As I posted Sunday: The school was located approx. 200-300 meters from the navy installation. A 'precision' airstrike can have a CEP circle accuracy of less than 10 meters. Maybe the Dept. of WAR let their satellite photo subscription lapse https://aseannow.com/topic/1388594-takeaways-from-the-iran-strike/page/15/#comment-20409959
  7. This was from a link in NYtimes story. Ali Larijani is Iran’s top national security official,

  9. And there isn't going to be one for the reasons in the post quoted above.
  10. As you already posted. '"It’s also reasonable to ask whether analysts commenting in a media context are bringing any institutional, political, or professional biases into their interpretation - something that happens in virtually every conflict." And from the above: . They involve pulling together multiple sources, historical context, policy decisions, and strategic analysis. What sources? I think of this kind of post as the word used by Bill O'Reilly in his Fox days: BLOVIATE
  11. Yes all without one independently corroborated fact.
  12. I posted different topic that the Tomahawk has an accuracy within a circle 10 meter radius. The school was about 200 meters from the medical naval facility.
  13. All these "well what abouts" make it sound like everything is the same -- just the numbers are different.
  14. Because Kushner and Witkoff told him to. From ABC News: The president spoke with his envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner by phone on Thursday, multiple sources said. In a phone call Saturday, the president told ABC News that talks between the U.S. and Iran had been going "very well." He added, "But in the end, we didn't think they were going to get there. And they would've had in a fairly short period of time some very fairly big nuclear capacity and we were not going to put up with that." The CIA had been tracking Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei for months, tracking his daily movements, a person familiar with the intelligence told ABC News. When they learned there would be a meeting of top leaders on Saturday with the Supreme Leader, the timing of the attack was moved. https://abc7chicago.com/live-updates/iran-live-updates-trump-says-major-combat-operations-have-begun/18660347/entry/18665562

  16. The Iran government at Minab is now displaying photos of genuine exploded Tomahawk missile component that they claim were part of the school bombing. However there would be no confirmation that the Iran government did not bring in some genuine Tomahawk remnants from another explosion. So that's as far as I will go.
  17. The March 05 Appeals Court ruling is largely procedural as the original plaintiffs themselves asked that the case be dismissed at the District Court since the Midway ICE operation was largely over. What the appeal was about was the DoJ wanting the case be with prejudice so that the 233 page district court ruling could not be used in further litigation. from Gemini AI: Legal Significance of the March 5 Decision The government pushed for the Seventh Circuit to vacate the injunction even after the case was dismissed to ensure the lower court’s ruling wouldn't be used as a "legal weapon" or precedent in future disputes. The Seventh Circuit agreed, citing "extraordinary circumstances" and the risk of separation-of-powers harms. This effectively removes the district court's 233-page opinion and its findings of fact from being used as binding authority in future civil rights litigation regarding federal crowd control in Illinois.
  18. So now even Trump says it was a Tomahawk -- just that it was someone ELSE'S Tomahawk.
  19. Trump stands by claim that Iran could have struck girls’ school The president also threatened attacks on Iran’s ability to produce energy. 03/09/2026 07:59 PM EDT President Donald Trump is standing by his claim that Iran could be responsible for a deadly missile strike on a girls’ school even as U.S. authorities say they are still trying to determine who is to blame. Trump said in a news conference Monday that Iran and other countries also use Tomahawk missiles like the one that struck the school in southern Iran in the initial wave of the U.S. and Israeli air assault on the country. “But whether it’s Iran or somebody else, the fact that a Tomahawk, a Tomahawk, is very generic. It’s sold to other countries. But that’s being investigated right now.” https://www.politico.com/news/2026/03/09/trump-stands-by-claim-that-iran-could-have-struck-girls-school-00820034 NB All God's chillun got Tomahawks
  20. Video from NY Times article showing strikes in minab area 163397_1_04vi-minab-caine_wg_1080p.mp4
  21. From the NY Times link: The Times has identified the weapon seen in the new video as a Tomahawk cruise missile, a weapon that neither the Israeli military nor the Iranian military has. Dozens of Tomahawks have been launched by U.S. Navy warships into Iran since Feb. 28, when the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran began. U.S. Central Command said a video it released of several Tomahawks being launched from Navy ships was filmed on Feb. 28, the day the Iranian base and school were hit.
  22. From the linked NYTimes article: Trevor Ball, a former U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal technician, also identified the missile in the video as a Tomahawk, as did another weapons expert, Chris Cobb-Smith, director of Chiron Resources, a security and logistics agency.

  24. Well sure but there's always stuff like the self-insured versus those (suckers) who purchase insurance and the allopathic vs. homeopathic /medical mafia debates.
  25. U.S. Tomahawk Hit Naval Base Beside Iranian School, Video Shows The evidence contradicts President Trump’s claim that Iran was responsible for a strike at the school that killed 175 people, most of them children. NYTimes via https://archive.ph/IJMSp#selection-547.0-551.148 A newly released video adds to the evidence that an American missile likely hit an Iranian elementary school where 175 people, many of them children, were reported killed. The video, uploaded on Sunday by Iran’s semiofficial Mehr News Agency and verified by The New York Times, shows a Tomahawk cruise missile striking a naval base beside the school in the town of Minab on Feb. 28. The U.S. military is the only force involved in the conflict that uses Tomahawk missiles. A body of evidence assembled by The Times — including satellite imagery, social media posts and other verified videos — indicates that the Shajarah Tayyebeh elementary school building was severely damaged by a precision strike that occurred at the same time as attacks on the naval base. The Times analysis of the video shows the missile striking a building described as a medical clinic in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps base. (still shot from video)
