How much is «walking distance»?
Gesendet von iPad mit Thaivisa Connect -
I enjoy Songkran the more traditional style on the countryside. This year we (the kids) enjoyed in Khao Tao with the locals, which was also very nice.
I don't splash water but use the blessing style.
I also don't like the big water battles which have no more in common with the spirit of Songkran.

Did you look already at the spec of your old unit?
I doubt that with a 4500 Watt unit you're able to fill a bath with hot water, but as you say that you're used to taking baths, you unit must have been sufficient.
So if you were taking baths before, I suspect your unit was more then 4.5Kw, and if you house hasn't burned down yet your wiring will be sufficient.
4.5 kW is not enough, indeed!
My experience is that a 6 kW heater can deliver a temperature of 45 °C, the 8 kW heater about 55 °C.
45 °C is enough for a shower, but the water flow may be too low. With 55 °C you have to mix and there for a higher water flow. -
Should be possible (up to 2560 by 1600 pixels) according to following infos from Apple:

We use Stiebel multipoint water heaters with 8 kW for our kitchens and the guest bathroom. No problems since 2 years.

Leather seats are better for amorous adventures as they are easier to maintain ... well so someone told me ....
They are easier to clean, especially with kids. All the remaining food won't stick as in the fabric. Liquids can be wiped.

Ah ...You like getting a very hot bum ? ... too:smile:
I also feared this, because I preferred fabric seats back in Europe. My Thai girlfriend and wife now wanted leather seats.
We avoid to park in the bright sun. We also use 60% window firm and drive white cars. The aircons of modern cars cool the car down very fast.
So I never had problems with a «hot bum». The steering wheel can get hot, but this is only a problem the first 1-2 minutes.

I only use leather seats in all my cars since 2008. I always buy the model with leather seats and I am very happy with them. I don't have long-term experience because we change the car about every 3 years.

Thais don't like to pay taxes.
I had to change my lawyer because he wasn't willing to make a tax invoice for his fees.
This lawyer has a business but doesn't pay taxes...

Get yourself a Ford. Man, they are so good. Mechanics hate them - never in the garage for repairs. Anyone who says Fords are frauds are buckets of
masquerading as a motor vehicle is clueless. And the design -so attractive.
Forget the Honda. They only were only any good at making motor bikes anyway. Noisy, so bad, With the wife whinging and the radio going off - just noisy as hell. Don't start me on the build quality of a Ford compared to a Honda. The Japs don't know. USA quality - awesome.
The Ford Everest and Ranger are good and have quit a good reputation in Thailand. This is not the case with the Ford Fiesta, Focus and Ecosport. You only see a few of them. Why?
I assume you are kidding with «USA quality», isn't it? All Ford sold in Thailand are made in Thailand, too.
Honda and Toyota have a very hight reputation in Thailand. The resale value is high and that is one of the main reason, why the Thai buy them. You also find a dealer just in every village. So these Brands cannot be bad, if they are so successful on the market.

I have a CX-3 and I love it. It is the most fun to drive of all and the best-looking in my opinion. The back seats are ok, but the trunk is small.
The HR-V is the best according comfort and space.
Honda and Mazda have also a lot of safety options.
The Ecosport is cheaper and also looks cheap to me. The back door is a disadvantage in tight parking situations. The reputation of Ford is not so good in Thailand, especially for the small models. But you seems to have a good experience and so Ford might be a good option in your case.
The Subaru XV is a bigger car, like the upcoming Toyota C-HR.
There is also the Nissan Juke, the first of this kind of vehicle. The styling is controversial, indeed.
If you don't want to stay with Ford, I recommend the Honda and the Mazda. But you should make a test drive with them.
Why don't visit the Bangkok Motorshow where you can see all these cars?

My point - another bloated bike looking for a market. Is it a scooter ? No. Is it a street bike ? No. And pricing - ?
It is a new category, which has no official name, yet.

X ADV - 240 kg CB500X - 195 kg Africa Twin 230 kg
Off Road - !!!
The X ADV is not an enduro. It is more a «SUV» or a «Crossover», certainly not bad for steh streets of Thailand...?

Go to HomePro, Boonthavorn etc. They have many brands and types in their shops.

The land size is written on the backside of the Chanotes. The numbers on the sketch are the numbers on the poles.

Thank you Juehoe. This is a great help. I will explore further.
I use wix.com for my website. It took some time until I understood the concept, but now making changes and updates is easy.
So you are not dependent from somebody else. I often hear stories where the web designer «disappeared»...

I guess your friend is a foreigner, so he cannot own a house.
You can own a house as a foreigner - but not the land.

Why not try to do it yourself with a website like wix.com? They have a lot of good looking templates, which are easy to edit and adapt.
