If you buy the top model, for less than 1 million more you can get a Benz, so why buying Japanese ? No taste for nice cars ?
Agree, that Accord, Camry etc. may be look a little bit boring.
But the Benz are overrated and overpriced. They have very bad ratings according to Consumer Reports, especially the A and C series. The models in the same price range of Accord & Co. have low specs and small engines.
Honda and Toyota have the far more better dealer network. You just find a dealer everywhere.
I think that choosing between Accord and Camry is a matter of personal taste and preferences. For me, the new Accord is more pleasant than the (boring) Camry. The Teana may have better options but I don't like its look.

Q-Con has also AAC floor plank in their product range.

I use the same package in Hua Hin. My experience is similar. The international connection are also fast, but sometimes slow down for a short period. Sometimes also local services like Facebook or YouTube seems to be slow. Restarting the modem helps in most cases.
I am quite satisfied with 3BB FFTX. I not often get the full speed, but still enough for my needs - far more better then the standard connections. -
I would not do it. It is a criminal act (document fraud).

The new Nissan Navarra seems to be a good option, too or the Isuzu.
We own a Mazda BT-50 which is based on the Ford Ranger and have no problems. -
Give it a bootfull, its very real.
4 skyactiv ownerships in under 3 years is impressive. do you keep crashing them ?
No I replaced them.
The Mazda 3 was fun to drive - but too low for me, so I exchanged it after a year with the CX-3. I choose the Gasoline engine, because the Diesel was not available at the beginning. I also like the Gasoline engine. The Mazda 3 proved, that it is a good engine with enough power and a good fuel consumption, far more better than the Ford-based Mazda 3's we owned before.
We had one of the first CX-5 Diesel, what it was launched. I changed than to the face lifted version because of the safety improvements - and because I got a good offer from my Mazda dealer.
I will probably switch to the new CX-5. But I hope that a new CX-7 will be introduced. My dream car would be the CX-9 (and an MX-5 RF).

Yes, ive driven a work colleagues tuned one (not sure who tuned it) and whilst a few more HP and torques are nice (bear in mind warranty is voided) to me in typical daily driving made little difference (yes stock it is a zippy little grocery getter) however to me the biggest difference was the removal of throttle lag that seems to be the bane of all drive by wire vehicles.
I newer noticed a throttle lag on my 4 Skyactiv Mazdas.

To all who wants to tune the Mazda 2 Diesel: Do you ever made a test drive?
On paper, the Diesel engine seems to be underpowered. But it has a lot of torque.
I had the chance to ride a Mazda 2 Sedan from Roi-Et province to Bangkok. We were 4 adults and the trunk full of baggage.
The Mazda 2 Diesel is very quick - and also quite comfortable. I am 1.71 and had no problems to find a comfortable position behind the wheel or on the back seats.

I think it depends on the type of visa.
My visa is «married with a Thai women, based on work permit». The paper work includes several dozen of pages. The local regulations change sometimes.
So for me, investing in a visa agent is worth the money (THB 13,000). It saves me a lot of time and headaches.
I also make the 90-days report by them (THB 500) because it saves me time.

assuming your car is under new car warranty, not using the recommended oil does it void the warranty ?
The annual service don't cost a fortune. I really recommend to do it your (Mazda) dealer.
A regular service at your dealer also increases the re-sale price.

I have also looked at the Kia for my somewhat large family, but unfortunately while it does come with curtain airbags in other countries the model here only has two airbags. Not sure if this is due to the re-engineering for the 11 seats or just cost cutting, but it has been enough to so far keep me from buying it as a family vehicle. Like it alot otherwise.
Thanks for the update about the airbags. I had the impression, that the Kia has more airbags in Thailand, too.
Hoping they will introduce it in the next update. The Thai markets seems to be willing to pay more for safety features and Kia has to follow. Otherwise, this is unfortunately a no-go... -
Honda has a minivan, too - but I assume, that you look at the Spada (not the Odyssee).

MG will introduce a minivan, too:

We have very good experience with AVIS Thailand. Friends of us often use THAI RENT A CAR and also are satisfied.
These companies are not cheap. But you get a good serviced car with insurance.
Local car rentals often have no (sufficient) insurance and the car was newer serviced by a dealer. -
We owned a Hyundai H-1 which was very convenient but lacked some features. The current H-1 is better equipped now.
Today I will pull choose the Kia because it is more car-like and with better safety options. But the dealership is also very limited. But normally we only went to the dealer once a year for the annual service.
Personally I don't like the Alphard. There are overpriced for what they offer. You have also consider, that the Kia has a fuel-economic modern Diesel engine and the Alphard an outdated fuel consuming gasoline engine.
I also assume, that the Kia has a better safety package than the older Alphard (only 2 airbags?).

What are the safety features of the Jazz Hybrid compared to the Mazda?
This would be one of the most important point in such a case. -
You can't trust 3BB and international speed. No need to pay extra money , it's just random if it's fast or not.
Yes, exactly! I can confirm this.
Most services like Google, Facebook or YouTube have local servers and are not «international» connections.

I am quite happy with my 3BB fibre connection (Hua Hin).
-
Thank you! I don't know why they shop says otherwise. I doubt they have actually tried.
I assume it is too much work for them...

I've been toying with the idea of getting a small car like the Mazda 2. I seem to see more Toyota Yaris models in parking lots and on the road. How does the Yaris compare to the Mazda 2? And, I like the styling of the Nissan March -- the more boxy look appeals to me. How does the March compare to Mazda 2 and Yaris?
All are good cars. I would say that Mazda makes the better and more fun cars to drive.
They are more expensive but also offer more safety features.
I think, that Mazda makes the better looking interiors.

I think that the Ford Fiesta is better.
I know it and the Mazda 2 well.
I prefer Mazda because it's better technology and style. But this may be also a matter of personal taste.
I always rexommend to make a test drive, first.

I had a Mazda long time ago. Peace of Shit then but got me through. I am sure they are better now.
The old models were made with Ford. All new models are now completely designed, engineered and made by Mazda.
We owned 2 Ford-based Mazda 3. They were ok, but the new models are far more better.

You have to register in the province where the license plate was issued, therefore in Prachuap Khiri Khan. You can register the bike on your address in Bangkok.

A common way for dealers to arrange finance is it to be done by way of Hire Purchase (HP), not by a Personal Loan, This means the ownership of the vehicle is transferred to the buyer on full settlement of the loan.
I
We have a personal loan. Most dealer have their favourite bank. We are using Thanachart and are very satisfied.
The first loan was a little bit difficult, but now it is quite easy.
