  4. That's the way to lure the ignorant into the slavery of CBDC!!
  5. Again?! Who the heck wants Thaksin's opinion?! Stop reporting about this living example of political corruption! Just seeing his face makes me throw up my breakfast 🤮
  6. I am speechless to see how vehemently cannabis is being discussed! No one ever discussed about the Meth problems - ya-bah - which price dropped from 300 Bt. to 20 Bt.? Ya-bah destroys lives since over 30 years here in Thailand. Nobody speaks about the criminality, rapes and murders due to ya-bah addiction!!! Cannabis NEVER makes aggressive! On the contrary and the beneficial effects are so many... So, look at the facts! Not just listening or giving opinions! Again a genuine example of political incompetence...
  7. It is a genuine example of political incompetence, sadly, again... But, as we know it's TIT
  8. It is - again - in my humble opinion the proof of incompetence... Like: "Thailand’s efforts in marketing, luxury travel promotion, and expanding visa-free travel were lauded." It is a WRONG approach with the only purpose to make higher profits! "Thailand diversify its economy while maintaining tourism as a key sector." Tourism related Economy represents roughly 1/3 of Thailand's GDP (including all para-tourism like Real Estate, Entertainment Venues even more than 30%) While very lucrative, Tourism is becoming weaker while paradoxically increasing in quantity it is getting weaker since the major trend is "getting more for less". Today's average Tourist has a smaller budget to spend! - Don't you notice how many Tourists are eating and drinking in front of the 7/11, instead of enjoying the friendly service in a restaurant? - Don't you notice that (while skyrocketing) there is a real fight in Rental- or Booking-Prices, sometimes even Tours are offering dumping prices... - The strategy "to attract more quality-luxury Tourism" does not work since there is NO improvement in Service! NO ONE speaks proper English!! - The strategy to enlarge and offer outside the major destinations is wrong since it will increase unnecessary infrastructure and finally increase the offer while the demand will diminish... - The strategy with "Visa-Free Travel" is very short sighted! It will enhance short term, seasonal Tourism but WILL NOT improve "off-Season" Tourism! - Too many points to criticise and the most acute is the lack of competence - as I often mention. Thailand has fantastic potential! However, it is still thinking "the Thai way": How to increase profits with the less effort (even easier while imposing more taxes), instead of giving an effort to improve quality that will result into solid prosperity! While Cambodia makes a similar mistake with cheap regulations, it has become a Chinese Colony. But Vietnam, the Philippines and many more will soon take over the market with very little efforts (i.e. they all speak English!) while Thailand WILL lose more and more Tourists because of wrong management...
  9. Can you stop publishing about this person?! I've got a nausea just to see is face! 🤢🤮 Stop talking about him! Enough! 🤬
  10. A genuine example how opportunities make people greedy. Especially disturbing is the fact that this guy was head of the DSI - unbelievable!
  11. A poll survey of 1,310 individuals aged 15 and over from various backgrounds does not represent "the majority of Thais"! So much discussions about a recognised "recreational drug" - so little discussions about Ya Bah, Ice etc.
  12. You can't be serious! Really! This might work on a computer game like SimCity... By next year 1'200'000 flights means 2 take-off/landings per minute!
  13. Oh, now there is even a "Deputy Director-General of Thailand’s Department of Climate Change" while there is NO climate change 😁 The climate is constantly changing, in cycles. So stop these politically induced misleading news! Sea levels are rising? Oh well yes! Of course! Since the beginning! When there is high tide!! 🤣 It just needs simple logic and common sense to understand that it is not the rising sea the reason of the problem and definitely NOT "climate change"!!! Reason number one is that Bangkok is sinking! It was and is built on the delta of the Chao Phraya River. It is built on fluvial muddy soft sediments - not on solid rock! Reason number two is that the delta is in reality a swamp area! i.e. Suvarnabhumi Airport in Samut Prakan which is not only a swamp but also below sea level!! Reason number three due to poor planing and enormous consumption, the Groundwater level is also lowering dramatically! This accelerates the sinking process of the entire city... Reason number four is that the frequent inundations are caused because of the unscrupulous deforestation of tropical forests!! The unscrupulous deforestation of the tropical forests is the major reason of floodings in all Thailand! So please, again: PUT POLITICIANS AT THE RIGHT PLACE WHERE THEY HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCE - This is actually a global problem in nearly every Country.
  14. This is so stupid it hurts! While it is proven that there is NO Climate crisis (!) they still continue with DISINFORMATION! - Who?! The UN of course! And who else?! The WMO of sourse! With what purpose? To CONTINUE TO SCARE THE POPULATION with wrong/false information and statements! What is the meaning, the purpose of this "Fake New"? "However, the WMO urges immediate action on reducing emissions and adapting to the climate changes." This is so stupid it hurst!
  15. High season, low season... Well of course! The TAT-strategy is so short sighted! "Visa promotions" "Visa free" etc. are just a short living marketing strategies, and tourists ARE tourist! They are coming during holiday periods. Than one complains - "Oh, over-tourism! Too many, too much!" So let's rely on the Chinese who don't bother and complain... "They will fill the gap"-thinking... There is a total lack of innovative future-oriented visionary thinking! The TAT is missing a very lucrative "Soft-Tourism" market! By Soft Tourism I talk: Long term, retirement Tourism! This is in my opinion THE market of the future: Retirement-Pensioner, Long Term Soft Tourism Reason number one: Most Western Countries have increasing pensioners - See https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/population-by-five-year-age-group + https://www.visualcapitalist.com/the-worlds-population-2020-by-age/ The average pensioner struggles in his own Country! The pension is low and forces one to lower the lifestyle standard! The costs are too high! Reason number two: "Soft Tourism" since this market would be long term, it would continue during the Green/Low Season. This segment is "calm and nice" - They want peace and tranquillity - No party monsters, drunkards nor troublemakers. This would support the Tourism Industry, Retirement Resorts, Home Rental, Restaurants, Taxi, Tuk-Tuk, Local Market, and so on until the "Little Noodle Shop"... The potential is HUGE: Exponential growing demand! Even an average pension would allow a better standard of living. High demand for Health related services! - Thailand has High standards Hospitals! Excellent Services! Traditional Massage etc. High demand for "Care Staff" - Thailand IS one of the most Service-Oriented Population in the world! - From housemaid, to nurse until companion - you name it... High demand for Real Estate: Sales & Rentals This would sure give a long term support to the entire Tourism Industry of Thailand which represents nearly 1/3 of income! It would drastically improve the "after season void" and smooth the Low season May to October... This is my suggestion for the future of the Tourism Industry! So TAT should really make an effort to make this happen while being more inviting and simplifying Visa regulations and incentives toward this neglected potential Pensioner-Market! It is a win-win strategy.
