PROSTITUTE: THIS IS A PERSON THAT HAS SEX FOR MONEY. THERE IS NO SIN THERE. SOME DO IT FOR NOTHING SOME DO IT FOR MONEY.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR OPINION BUT NOT EVERYBODY IS SO OLD FASHIONED IN THEIR THOUGHTS TO WHAT IS AND ISNT ACCEPTABLE. THE OLDEST TRADE IN THE WORLD IS PROSTITUTION. DO OU REALLY THINK IT WILL GO AWAY.
Why are you yelling at me!
No, of course I don't believe that prostitution will ever go away. Where did you ever get that idea?
I personally don't believe that there is any sin in prostitution either. I firmly believe that it should be legalised.
I have no problems with prostitutes, and I don't have an "attitude".
I think that if you re-read my posts carefully then you will realise this.
I only asked a couple of questions, instead of getting answers, I cop abuse and have posters assume that I'm taking a negative or moral viewpoint.
The only person that decided to answer the questions isn't even married to a bar girl even though he seems to think that he is.
I also don't have problems with soi dogs. I just choose not to have them sleeping in my bed.
SOME DO IT FOR NOTHINGI don't think that they are called prostitutes if they are doing it for nothing.
-
you obviously have no idea
Not an assumtion at all. You have proved it beyond a reasonable doubt.
Have you ever even been to Thailand?
I anyone called my wife a bar girl they would be looking for a fight. If I called my wife a bar girl, then I think I would wake the next day to the smell of Penis cooking on stove.
So if I were you, I'd be sleeping very lightly from now on.
-
I certainly don't have any problems with bar girls. I have a befriended a couple over the years.
But I recognise that a prostitute by any other name is still a prostitute. Anybody that doesn't realise that is a fool.
BTW: I do not "bar fine" these girls. I'll buy them a couple of drinks and have a chat, but I certainly don't sleep with them.
-
As far as bar girls go, the "pimp" is the bar owner.
When a customer takes a girl they pay a "bar fine" to the bar owner. Then any cash that is given to the girl later is hers to keep.
-
Maybe not, but you obviously have no idea.I am not that hung up about how Thai Bar Girls make their money.Yes "bar girls" is synonymous with prostitute in Thailand. Big deal.So. Is your wife still a bar girl?
-
Firstly "Bar Girl" is synonymous with a girl you meet in a bar, not, as you assume "prostitute".
You have got be joking. Go and stand in Don Muang arrivals for a while and ask every farang (or probaly Thai, for that matter) that comes in "How does a Bar Girl make her money?".
I think that you will indeed find that "Bar Girl" is synonymous with "has sex with customers for money".
-
OK then, don't make me have to assume by giving the full story.
Is your wife an ex-bar girl, prostitute? If not, then I don't know why you bothered posting in this topic at all.
If so:
Does your family know that she is an ex-prostitute?
Were you ever her customer?
-
you said that my wife was probably nearer your daughter's age
I never mentioned your wife, I mentioned bar girls.
-
Considering that the topic of the thread is "Bar Girls are good", I don't think that it was much of an assumption that if you said that you met your wife in a bar that she had therefore been a Bar Girl.
-
But you should never assume - it makes you appear to be a 70+-year-old biggot; and when you're trawling the Thai bars do you ask for birth certificates?
My wife "probably" looks younger than your daughter!
Umm... I think maybe you are doing a fair bit of assuming here..
I am not sure how you equate me assuming that you're an ex customer makes me 70 years plus or a bigot.
-
Regardless of "label", does your family realise that your wife is an ex prostitute? ie She sold her body for money. I can only assume that you were at one time a customer. So, do they also know that you have visited prostitutes and paid money for sex?
There is no statement of judgement here at all. It is just two questions.
-
I am yet to see a 55 year old bar girl in Thailand. Maybe they exist, but I think that most would be much much closer to my daughters age.Does your daughter, whose "probably" over 55 years old, go to bars?Dunno - it's irrelevant as I do not use either label.Regardless of "label", does your family realise that your wife is an ex prostitute? ie She sold her body for money. I can only assume that you were at one time a customer. So, do they also know that you have visited prostitutes and paid money for sex?
-
I agree that we shouldn't treat someone badly just because they are involved in prostitution.
I agree, but I certainly don't want to marry one and take her home to meet my mum... (or even worse, my daughter who is probably only a few years younger)
-
My family know of her backgroundand where we met but do not use your label.
Do they understand that Bar Girl and Prostitute are synonyms?
-
Dunno - never dated a prostitute in my own country! However, I wouldn't be so narrow minded as to rule it out. I try to respect people for who they are, not because of their plight in life.
OK fair enough. Did you tell your family that she is an ex-hooker?
-
simonpayne17,
Answer this question. Would you ever have considered marrying a prostitute in your own country?
If the answer is no, (and most guys that marry Thai Bars Girls would answer no), then how come you married a Thai prostitute?
-
There was also much talk of creating an 'FBI'
Farang Bribery Institute
-
Simon, haven't you heard. "You can't teach old dogs new tricks".
-
You never know what you'll find if you have an open mind!
Problem is that too many people think that an open mind is the same as an empty mind.
-
I know it's not an easy route, she is an easy root.this is definitely not an easy routeSorry, I didn't realise that you wouldn't understand Australian..
From Kevin Bloody Wilson's Dictionary
rootnoun or verb intercourse; f###; shag; screw
(KevSpeak) `I wouldn't mind a root!'
ALSO `I was rooted!' (exhausted; f###ed; shagged; screwed)
-
but I prefer to work at this and not take the easy route out
Simon, I think that you ARE taking the Easy Root, and she is taking you.
-
Thats right, but I don't think that it is widely practised.
Thetyim says that it isn't working for any links which is a bit odd.
Thetyim, I just noticed that in the Google search results, that at the end of each listed entry, there are two links. One says cached and the next is similar pages
So you should also get the google cached page by clicking on cached
I didn't see the forest for the trees. I have installed the google toolbar that you can get here
Then you don't even need to go to the google search. If you see a link on any page that you know is blocked, then you can just right click on it and select the cached snapshot.
-
I do not get the option on the drop down menu
What options do you get? Your setup doesn't sound unusual so i can't understand why it isn't working for you. When i right click, the drop down list is:
Open
save target as
print target

copy shortcut
