How does this new law affect joint bank accounts? For example, my Thai wife and I have joint accounts in Thailand and in the middle east. We normally send savings back every year to Thailand and depending on the exchange rates very often exceed the new limit. Being as she is Thai would this except us from this law. Thoughts?

Does anyone know of a company doing Chrome Plate for Motorcycle parts? I'm based in Pattaya and I'm restoring an old bike as a bit of a hobby and would like to chrome plate some parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I've played it many times. It's cheap and cheerful. The caddies are friendly enough and the restaurant and drink stops are cheap and very good. Excellent to play during the week in the morning as its nearly always empty.

With regards to this second hand goods thread. Is it possible for a Thai who lives outside of the country to bring in second hand goods more than 1 time or is it a one off event only? So, for example, if my wife wants to furnish her house with goods this time and then in lets say 3 years time decides to do the same thing again can she do this?

Does anyone know how to go about getting a Certified Copy of Thai Birth Certficate.

We are not in the Kingdom, so we had to send the sister-in-law to the Amphores office to get it. Anyway, they will only issue a photocopy signed by the officer in the office.

We tried to get a certfied translation of this, but the consulate here won't accept it as they don't know who the signature belongs to. They also say that we need to get a Certfifed Copy. So, please, does anyone know how we could go around getting such a thing at a local Amphores office.
