She is Thai but became an American citizen in 2009. She registered for the vaccine using her American passport. In Chiang Rai they are prioritizing American citizens for the Pfizer vaccine. An American friend who lives near us has a Thai wife but she never became a US citizen. She went with her husband, showed their marriage certificate and was able to get the Pfizer vaccine
That is good for you folks. However, if CR is prioritizing American citizens why am I, an 70 yo American who has registered with CR hosp several times NOT been contacted for a pfizer jab just sino and AZ offered at my district hosp. Could it be that they are using the expatvac reg info for this purpose?

really now, are stranded cats all that important in the grand scheme of things??
Cats can swim you know.
Perhaps they, the cats, will clean the island of rodents, monkeys, etc.
As a final resort the PM can organize a rescue operation like that in Kabul, flying them to various countries in need.

Why did you register at Wallof CM when you are in Bangkok?
just another gamer of the system....

I have given up getting it. Although I am a plus 70 yo American expat on non o visa retirement extension of stay, I was barred from the party due to not being able to add the extension page along with the photo of my american passport. I don't do this sort of thing often and never at all for this situation.
I am dissapointed that the web site has not corrected their dropping of many folks in my same situation.
Yet I know of others that gamed the systems by walking in to other than their home districts, getting two jabs of sino and az total and now registered on this site and being approved for Pfizer.

reward their behaviour with the Pfizer vac which should go to more responsible people. That will teach them!!!!

I have all the pages in my passport scanned and when I filled in the registration form, at the part where it askes for the 2 photos I went to browse, found the scanned passport files, clicked on the photo page, then did a Ctrl click click on the visa page.
I made sure that both pages were selected and loaded them onto application. They both showed up and I completed the form and posted it.
It was rejected because the passport number and name had been used in my previous email. I simply deleted the last number from my passport and the last letter from my surname, reposted it and it worked.
I believe the main problem was the application was badly done at the photo page with no instructions on how to post 2 photos.
It worked for me with a different email and I that you can understand my post and that it works for you.
Good luck.
thanks for the help, will try it and hope for the best.

YES.......well no really . I live somewhere smaller and quieter . No far from there though.
Same same here, did live actually in the city but found it crowded, lacked public spaces in the city to sit and enjoy, heavy traffic on substandard streets, most neighborhood rife with chichens, rooster, crowing all hours,. Northern thai people generally not friendly , sort of stuck up I found. Little english spoken outside of the farang bar area and even there it is not very fluently spoken. The thai food not all that great, some good northern thai dishes and a few good western aiming restaurants, but covid has closed many. Moved to the country 25 km from city center. Not much of an improvement in most areas as little if any english spoken as Issan and Lao prominate here.
I look back on it all with quite a bit of regret now, only stay for my 13yr old daughter and she wants to go to America to live, she thinks!!!

Got the same email for same reason today, will hope to get the email alluded to allowing visa page, ext. of stay stamp, to be sent in. Will watch this post for updates by users on their experiences.
I still don't know how to drag and drop both at once into the alloted space. Are both files dragged at the same time:? How is that done.

I've just had the same rejection email, even though I included my visa in the original application. I've re registered (had to use different email and a slight variation of my given name to register) and included my whole passport in a single pdf file. Waiting to see what happens now (if anything)
How do you combine the two into a single pdf file??? I have win10 and pics saved in the drive and with short cut links on the desktop.
I will try to register again after mastering this simple, to most, task with your kind help. Hope I can do it without a new email address, maybe use my daughters.

i just rec'd email from the MFA, which informed me that my registration was rejected for lack of including my visa with my passport. It went on to say that the program was for foreign residents and not for thais.
I have not mastered the combining the pics of my usa passport with the pic of my last extension of stay approval stamp, so what do I do now:::::??? Re-register???

Maybe not so sad to her. Could have thought her time was up and went off to die in the woods, thus sparing her friends and family the burden of her last days at home.
Seems that some native American Indian tribes pracrticed this sort of thing.

so, lets reward the irresponbile pricks there by giving them the best vaccs and send the upcountry folks who are more responsible in their actions regarding covid the least effective vaccine.
Just let them stew in their own juices I say.

Funnily enough when I try that website I can never find anything that relates to the symptoms that I actually have.
So I reckon I must be suffering from unique disorders that medicine has never yet discovered.
stop the coffee in the morning.

you've got to be kidding me. Songkran is not a festival to me, just a gathering of folks of no significance celebrating a long ago event. No new years celebration rates a festival in my mind. And by the way, how many new years celebrations do these folks get??? just a made up scene for making a buck.

well, if the old folks don't want vaccine then so be it, tired of all the vaccine naysayers, etc. being catered to. Let them stew in their own juices I say. Most countries have an over abundance ot the aged anyway.

Yes. yes yes, I live in a village and cherish the peace and quiet of having hundreds of hens, roosters, etc. going off at 4am and other times of the day, the neighbors dogs, as well as the ones I inherieted doing the same, and then the voices of the people who talk accross distances to each other. As it is a village in a agricultural area the dust and dirt from tilling, etc. is great too. Not to mention the lack of any western items nearby to buy and that I need.
So if you really want a village life I have two houses to sell to you.

After sweeping the webs and spiders all over the house for the umpteenth time today, I want to ask if any readers here have developed a successful method for reducing their populations. They return and return and the webs trap dust and dirt, etc. and then stick to the broom then fall off when sweeping. Very frustrating. Help please!!!!

I understand what you are saying and you are correct, but my body, my choice surely.
I guess that the solution to this type of thing is a living will which should override the wishes of family frineds, etc.
My older brother and his wife had to care for a completely gone from alzheimers for over 15 years as her sister couldn't bear to sign a dnl form yet this person never visited her mother ever. Very stressful on my bro and his wife. I would imagine her "religion" had something to do with it.

at a certain point in a medical situation I believe we have a duty to die. Why waste resources keeping a person alive just for the sake of saying they aren't dead? Resources that can go to the young, etc.

Do you have a Yellow House Book in your name?
If so the 13 diigit number on the Thai ID, pink card, is the same as in the house book. It should be accepted on the form.

I finally got registered at Central Plaza, CR, after obtaining a pink ID card.
Being over 60 I hope to get AZ as promised in August.
Not being considered as having an existing condition as I am not now on daily meds and not currently under a drs care.

I thought the one from Penn. usa, was great. However I probably would have guessed far south Louisianna, or rural South Carolina, great stuff.
