  2. Thanks for the link to the previous thread, however it didn't work for me, but something changed my sync time.

17:55   Before changing the router setting, I checked the time of last sync "10:56:21" which was the time i managed to sync this morning.

I amended the router setting as indicated in the thread, and restarted the router.

When I went to the settings page to try to sync, the time shown for my last sync was 16:51:00

Trying to sync just produced the same "unable to sync" message.

In my case I should always be able to switch ISP servers when I want to sync the time, but it's still a PITA.

  3. I bought a new PC a few months ago, the time was synced in the shop, but I've never been able to do it at home.  I've tried changing the time server and checking that the appropriate windows services are running ok.

This morning my 3BB service was down for a short period and I switched to my backup TOT service, and I was able to synchronise the time with no problems.

Anybody know if it's 3BB or the modem, that's blocking me?

  4. The official daily and cumulative totals for Chiang Mai (and other regions) can be found at https://ddc.moph.go.th/covid19-dashboard/index.php?dashboard=province .

It's all in Thai but easily understood.  The link will display the totals for Thailand as a whole, but if you click on the required province on the map on the right-hand side, it shows totals for that province.

Totals shown are Infections, deaths, infections for Thai nationals, infections for foreigners, Infections discovered by search, and walk-in, infections discovered in prisons, number of vaccinations (shown as 1 or 2) .

    Also https://ddc.moph.go.th/covid19-dashboard/index.php?dashboard=scoreboard

shows the number of reported infections per province for the past 2 weeks, again only in Thai

  5. It seems to me that it's mostly down to luck, and being in the right place at the right time.  Like lots of others I put my name down on several registration lists with no result.  Then last week I took my wife to the local village hospital for her government shot.  I had no appointment, but I had nothing to lose by asking.  They were sympathetic, and we both ended up with shots of AZ.  Maybe just a visit to your local village hospital will be lucky for you.

  6. I took my wife to the local village hospital yesterday for her vaccination appointment.  She got her first dose of AZ vaccine.  I thought I'd give it a try to apply while I was there.  I was given a queue number and waited my turn.  Eventually my number was called, and I completed all the steps necessary, before being told there was no more vaccine available.  I have the paperwork that was completed, and I have been told to return on Monday when I will be given priority.  I have lived too long in this country to be wary of such assurances, so I just have to wait until Monday.  Although it was stated that it was only for the over 60's, a lot of the people in the waiting area were certainly not over 60.

  7. Despite UEFA saying they don't have any live coverage of those competitions, they did stream The Europa Cup and Champions League matches live to Thailand on UEFA.tv.  I believe their policy is no live streaming to areas where there is a local broadcast of the event, so I am hopeful that they will be streaming EURO 2020 live to Thailand even though they are not  specifically saying so at the moment.

  8. I'm ashamed at being a Chelsea fan today.

This is just pure greed by the richest clubs in Europe, with no respect for anybody else.

Thankfully, I just don't see that it will work in it's current format.  If these Premier League Clubs stay in the Premier League and withdraw from the other domestic competitions and Champions League, they will be playing a minimum of 58, and a maximum of 65 matches a season, and the clubs moan now about fixture congestion.  If they didn't play in the Premier League, then thy would only play 20-27 matches a season, and they would be arranging other "super-friendly" matches that nobody is interested in.

With all these matches playing mid-week, fans will have no weekend matches to go to.

I strongly believe that FIFA and UEFA should carry out their threat to ban any player that competes in the new league, from playing in domestic leagues, the Champions League, or international matches, although I don't see that happening.

  9. DAZN has the copyright for Thailand. You can stream it live from

    www.goal.com/th/ข่าว/stay-tuned-ตารางถายทอดสดฟตบอล/1avl5byctg48z1tjl9y0cu9ro2

It's all in Thai, just scroll down the page, and click on the link    YouTube : DAZN Thailand

You might try connecting 30 mins or so before the game, in case you have problems.

  10. The referee was Anthony Taylor, the only referee since 1901 to referee 2 Cup Finals.  His previous one was in 2017 when Chelsea lost to Arsenal.  In that match Victor Moses was sent off, and Arsenal's first goal by Sanchez was shown to be both offside and handball.  The linesman flagged for the offside/handball, but was overridden by the ref.

  11. I'll be travelling on Air Asia domestic flight soon, and I get conflicting info regarding cabin baggage.  The details I got when I booked the flight said I was allowed the usual cabin bag that would go into the overhead locker, but the safety video states that only 1 bag that can fit under the seat in front, is allowed.

Also I assume you can sign in with telephone number. where necessary, and the government tracking app is not mandatory.

Can somebody who has flown with Air Asia, give details, please ?

  12. Last Thursday, I had an appointment at the large private hospital, the Ram, in Chiang Mai, and my wife had an appointment at the nearby large Government hospital, the SuanDork.

Both hospitals were much quieter than normal, and whilst my wife was seeing the doctor, I took a walk around the hospital including Casualty.  Nowhere were there any signs of extra activity, and no areas appeared to be cordoned off.  Possibly there were less people than usual, because of the fear of catching the virus there.
