My thing is that I don't drink at home,* I am a pub goer and I was hoping for a local stockist so that I could cajole a local bar into putting it in for me. So a bar/resto whatever here would need to put it out at about 65 which is bearable. *In the house I'd rather just have a cup of tea. Life is never simple.

Saw this today in BigC, and looking it up on here came across an archived thread from 2020 which roundly slagged it off. At the time the price quoted was 50 or 52 per 490 ml can, in BigC today the same item is 31 baht.

Up in the Nakhon I've tried a couple of wholesalers and one 7 but no joy. I'm off out shortly see if I have any luck in a wholesaler on the way to the local BigC. Do they want to sell the stuff or not.

At 64 he's going to come here and look for work.? Well I know a school that will employ pretty much anybody as an English teacher. Not much time on the beach in a hammock though and not a lot of fun if there's no plan B. Did not realise that he had already done teaching, so if he lives quietly and is happy with a low income don't see a problem there. The problems may come from health, visas and extensions, keeping the job as he may be a bit much for some employers.
