Exactly yogi, you are just regurgitating the gutter press and contributing more. "there is a good part of Pattaya" as you almost said. So how much is "a part".? 10%.? You are clearly inferring that the greater part is bad. Would this include the Hilton and Hard Rock hotels.? Long time since I've seen a drunk farang, or many Thais come to that. But it is a holiday resort where people come to relax and be happy, and like other resorts you occasionally see drunks. I live in a Soi near the beach, with at least a dozen bars and the only problem is the staff in two of them play this Isaan music very loud. (then wonder why they have no customers). -

Why not.? It is the main reason that people come on here, it's great fun, go on try it. -

They could start by telling people who know nothing about it to stop disparaging the place. Or even prosecute them under Section 326 Defamation. -

Curfew, alcohol ban to be lifted in Bangkok, other provinces, from Nov 1
rott replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Interesting but reported where.? -
I doubt if it can get that busy. For me I am not bothered I am happy with it being quiet and I was happy when it was busy. I drink a lot less now and feel better for it, I think I will stay at this level.

I only personally know one visitor who has arrived here in the last four months. But I know five so far who have booked for November and December. I am aware of a lot of pent-up demand from ghetto regulars in Pattaya and think the busy season here might not be a total wash.

I am a Puritan but I won't be wringing my hands or hiding under bedsheets. -

Well alcohol is a major worldwide consumer product and industry, so that is probably part of it. -

61 people arrested after police raid bar on Sukhumvit Soi 23
rott replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Bangkok News
What is allowed and what is happening can be very different. -
The heading says from 1,000 baht per month which would be very nice but I would be more than happy with change out of 10,000 for room, condo whatever. As far as Banglamphu/Khaosan would also fit the bill.

Thank xxxk I don't live there anymore. Bad memories of having to go into work and listen to the kopites all day. (That's what we called them then.)

Well say what you like about StevieH, he was right about Klopp. Just thought I'd mention it.

Pubs and bars to remain closed in 17 pilot areas after November 1
rott replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well you obviously know all about it and all about bar owners and managers everywhere. No more to be said then. -
No, in your post you do not know the difference.
-
Must be embarrassing for the one who gave you a like, to see that you were actually responding to a different post in a different forum. But no harm done.

Please show me where I have called you an idiot. I was not speaking about my own or anybody else's lifestyle, just curious if anywhere else in the world has similar acceptable property prices. And I know the difference between too and to, and how to spell labei. Reading your post I am beginning to suspect a few "issues".
