Its bad enough having to deal with all the big face issues that plague us in this life let alone having to deal with it again in the next.

May you kindly choke on your tourist levels since injured Thais are of a minor consequence to you.

Please, I need another handkerchief

Maybe they'd been reassigned to inactive posts already.

It is my contention that the demise and violence in Thai society stems directly from Thai TV soap & whitening operas.

Wonder if any "God is Great" shouts were recorded on the CCTV.

Forgive my back burner suggestion but make sure they have taken the driving test and possess a genuine driver license.

Plus never read anything, never listen. Try teaching a class of bachelor degree students:
- Did you read the case study handout? No, but I think it's about xxxxx.
- What did I say in the last 3 minutes? I don't know, why are you so serious professor?
- Previous class, well explained several time plus hand out; next class is final exam, don't be late. Several students 30 - 45 minutes late. Why are you late this was all explained last class and you got a handout. Ohh I didn't know.
Young Thai adults are just like the Eloi people in H.G. Wells' novel-The Time Machine. The film version depicted young adults in the far future completely oblivious to history, to the world around themselves and no curiosity to learn anything.

Prosecutors only against the poor; groveling yes men to the rich.

Another yawn in the Dept. of Transportation. Please excuse my callousness. Of course I feel upset for the victims and the family members too but my feelings don't seem to transfer to the members of this government which puts more emphasis on tourist levels than it does for the safety of its citizens.

Will the Thai AF supply air support with F-16s?

Maybe if the Minister of Transportation and members were 'required' to make sudden surprise rides on all the various charter bus routes, they might take their positions more seriously.

If these were guys pulled off the street to clean the drains, I can understand how they might be in the dark about oxygen depletion in enclosed areas. If they were fellas with experience doing this type of work, I would think they had some basic ideas about the situation they were entering into.

The bus driver will be smarting from that 500 baht fine for months to come.

Being a bus accident investigator here seems to come with
real job security.

After I received my driving license, I wanted to buy some extra instruction time to get used to driving through the round-abouts in town. I gained more confidence doing this. The instruction also included how to use good judgement in cutting cars off quickly when you want to get out ahead. Thank you, driving school!

Total transparency, of course.

Wet Nurse service too, no doubt.

How can anybody be believed or trusted in this government.

Maybe Thailand can learn the secret of their fabulous technique of producing PVC pipe that turns to powder in a year! Beat a path boys!

He should have left the chain at home instead of his brain.

How can anyone expect any change for the better when the average Thai, let alone their government, has no concept of safety. We see it nightly on the TV news, the latest exercise in lack of judgement and plain stupidity involved in these car accidents. Further more, safety is not planned into highway nor standard road design. The only solution will be to follow the suggestions of the supreme leader...be careful out there when your driving.

Heaven forbid should more personnel actually be assigned to help alleviate the extra paper work involved here in order to remove the burden of statelessness from these kids and others whose lives would increase for the better. Is there an annual limit on government new hires?
