I've mostly seen Thais wearing sunglasses when wanting to look cool or doing arc welding....yes, arc welding.

I try to time my travel after the morning rush and before the schools let out. It took me a while to get into the rhythm. My biggest gripe is the traffic lights. They're rigged to have just a two second caution yellow light so the traffic cam above it will catch you crossing as the light has quickly turned red. Bastards.

Need speed governors on public transportation engines.

We know the Boys in Brown have our best interests in their hearts. But they go above and beyond by adding 'convenience' to the Thai experience.

How are you supposed to know when one traffic nightmare ends and a new one begins?

I'm thinking a crackdown is in order here in lieu of a campaign although the results will be about the same.

To me, driving safety in my #1 concern. The hassle with immigration, the govt, the police is an irritation, sure. But I'd rather deal with that than be laid up in a Thai hospital.

Essence of Flowers? Oh, man up and pay a little more for the Bird Nest Soup flavor. It's much more therapeutic, especially if packaged with a "We Promise Tough Action" logo.

ROAD SAFETY in 2017, do you believe that anything will REALLY CHANGE ?

How can anyone expect any change for the better when the average Thai, let alone their government, has no concept of safety. We see it nightly on the TV news, the latest exercise in lack of judgement and plain stupidity involved in these car accidents. Further more, safety is not planned into highway nor standard road design. The only solution will be to follow the suggestions of the supreme leader...be careful out there when your driving.
