My Laptop has got recently serious Problems with burning DVDs - have a look to my Posting in the Internet/PC Forum ....

I am searching a friendly Guy in Pattaya, who is interested to burn Series of Sci-Fi - like Andromeda and Stargate SG1 - for me and himself to make a Kind of "Collection"! I have all Datas on portable HDs ......

In case, there is not to find a Person with these Interests, I am even considering to pay somebody to burn this Movies on DVDs for me - please make me a reasonable Offer.

I have also many Movies in German Language to be burned on DVDs .......

I have experienced now a serious Problem with my Laptop:

since I have removed and installed a new Software to burn DVDs, my Computer shuts automatically down, after having created a DVD Folder to burn the Movie - what means, just before burning, it shuts down ( showing certain words, but too fast to read them ).

Anyone has an Explanation and can find me a Way out of this Problem?

I use "Cyberlink-DVD-Producer" to burn DVDs, what took before a long Time to burn 1 DVD - is this "normal" by the Way?

Another Question is (was) : when I started to burn a Video, what showed me 34O MB on my PC - the Datas increased to over 2 GB in my Burningroom .... How can this happen?

I would like to buy online ( ebay ) a Dietary Supplement in the USA and shipping it to Thailand.

Can anybody give me Advices, how to get this Shippment save and without Problems to my Adress in Thailand?

I am over 50 Years old, currently living here in Thailand on a "multible-entree-non-o" Visa, which will run out in September this Year ! I got informed, that when I can proove a certain monthly Income ( this should be more than 67k Baht - right? ),

I could apply at the Immigration for a Retirement Visa!

Is that right? How is the Procedure?

Now - I could give myself that required "Income" in selling monthly a certain Amount of my Investments, but how to find the right Words for that Statement from my Bank?

After having this Statement from my Bank, what I have to do further?

I just was reading in the Pattayamail a Letter - where one Person stated, you just need to fill the Form TM.47 ( Report every 90 Days ) at the Immigration and you will get another 90 Days stamped in your Passport at no Costs !

Anybody can tell me, if this is true - and therefore I do not need to make the "Visa-Run" every 90 Days?

Unbelievalble - but true : I am getting more and more borred in my daily Routine with my Live here in Pattaya.

Having a nice Girlfriend keeps me out of the Bars, doing some Sport every Day to keep me fit - reading Books, Internet and watching TV - that´s it?

I have a licenced Windows XP Professional for my Laptop - "C" has 20 GB +"D" with 50 GB

( actually, I should have 80 GB - where the "Rest" has been gone ? )

and I want to install this safe and proper!

OK - first safe/transfer all Datas, Files and Programms on the "C" to another HD.....

But than - without loosing any Datas on the "D" ?

You definitely have rights under both Thai and British law, the problem is enforcing them.

I suggest you start by having the lawyer try to negotiate a child support and custody agreement with the father in which he acknowledges paternity, agrees to provide child support and you in turn agree to give him visiting rights. It is only reasonable to expect to have to let him see the child if he provides support, unless you have reason to believe he might mistreat or neglect the baby.

If negotiations fail them you can look at options for taking legal action.

In Germany, when such a Case appears, the Lady have just to apply for the Help of the Department of Youth/Child Affairs of the Goverment, and they will order the "might-be-father" to undergo a Paternity Test in any case - and will he will have to pay for this Test, when the DNA Test showes a positiv Result, that he is the Father

I need CDs to burn Filles over 760 Mb, so I recently bought in T-Com, Pattaya a Pack of 10 CDs ( Smart, blue Color with a Dolphin on it ) ) with 870 Mb - but on my Computer, they show up with only just over 700 Mb !

Can anyone recommend a Brand of CDs, having the real Storage over 760 Mb written on their Label?
