  1. Linux does not let me do some things that windows does that is why i dont wish to use it, at least thats what i heard

    What may that be?

well i cant go into detains on what does and what doesnt, it just what some people told me, if it works same as windows, then maybe i will go out and try linux, if so, what is the best linux

  2. I am looking for opinion, which is the best operating system for microsoft systems

Please dont tell me, change to mac, or load linix systems,

i am currently on XP but thinking about formatting and loading another one, but if they say XP is best, then i wont

    thank you

  3. What about those who will constantly call your post a troll when in fact its not, Now i understand there are many people who start threads that are stupid just to start a fight, but some people have real questions that most dont beleive so all you can write is "TROLL" its very annoying, ive seen some good questions and stories and see from the same poster in comments that he or she is a troll, it makes no sence, if you dont like or beleive what they are saying, they keep your mouth closed and leave, you dont have to join in the conversation , no one is forcing you to join, read it, and decied if its real, if you think its not, then leave the topic and read another

  4. Let's see. Bombs are found and/or detonated routinely in Bangkok for over a year. Citizens know this.

A citizen sees a suspicious object laying in a public place. They call the police. The police arrive to find it is a bomb. The disposal crew are called out.

    Rocket science?

I agree with you. last year in my home area in pratunam, a small box containing wires and what looked like a telephone and a metal box was found sitting in front of a internet cafe, i just steped over it thinking it was just someones trash and i sat at a computer near the door (which is where the box was sitting), someone walked in and said to leave the area that a bomb was placed in frot of the building, (of course i didnt beleive but to be safe we all cleared out, then someone called the police and they arrived very quickly (unlike what most people say, the police were faster then the USA police) i was amazed, but it turned out to be a false bomb,

The cafe camera caught a car drive up and someone (unidentyed) drop the package and speed away as far as i know, they were never caught

  5. I am a male living in thailand, but i am ashamed to point out that i love to wear female clothes all kinds, dresses, skirts, tops, shoes, but not in public yet i still want to be with women, ive been with lady boys and i women (cause to me lady boys are women, but ive always gone out as a guy,

Mostly i am addicted to latex and leather style clothing (womens) not mens,

This is not a troll, i just wanna know, am i still in the closet, or is this just a fetish

    thank you for your replies,

please dont judge me, for i am a nice person

  6. Just ordered from them, i will let you know what i thought

BTW: the website is not to bad, its readable except for a few missing images, I am a web designer and i reccommend to use test for the prices and pizza styles not pictures, jpeg and gif are known to not show sometimes even on a fast connection, but mine is slow so just saying

  7. My wife is from the North, but before i continue with my rant, what part of the north are you talking about, Chang mai north or Udon North

In the udon area, this is stange to hear about, she never heard of this tradition before so i will assume that you mean the way way up north of thailand, or the fact that your g/f family does things differently

  8. I once had one of those Soken MP3 players, Yes they start off as Thai language, but there is a setting that can change to english, they are pretty well made, and last a few hours if played non-stop, battery lfe was good, but mine broke after having it for a year or so,

but i just wanted to say that if they showed one to you in Thai langugage, that there is always a way to make into englsh

Ive never ran into a mp3 player that is only thai

For whom it may concern: Ive read the posts on this reply, and ive noticed that anyone failed to say that the final station is going to be linked by a skywalk with phaya tai BTS station, or the fact that Asoke airway link is next to the MTR phetburi, so getting where you wanna go from the airport link wont be much of a problem

Personally, if I were a tourist, I wouldn't fancy stumbling down the steps with a suitcase, and crossing the SRT rail lines and Kampengphet road, through a 100-200m walk, then descending into the MRT and even then the MRT won't deliver you to your door, you've still gotta get a cab (and whats the little security guy going to say when he see's a gyu with a sutcase..... when he spends too much time already stopping women with hand bags)...... for that matter, as an expat, I wouldn't fancy it either.... its going to be pretty much cost neutral (lets face it, if your flying out of bkk airport, 50-100 baht either way won't make much difference) and its just going to be easier to hop in a cab and go door to door..... unless its at 7-9am or 5-7pm rush hour.

To be fair, if you were flying in from say phuket for a business meeting at say 12 noon in say the Wyatt Erawan, then Airport-phaya thai-bts chitlom(?) would be a good option - quick and economical..... but otherwise, and for other destinations......

yes, i believe that i would have to agree with you, i didnt consider that

  11. I would first like say that i like the design of thai visa forums, its really nice, second i lovethis service due to the fact of quick answers and helpful people on this site thank you

Question: Does anyone here know how much a USA passport costs, I would like to get another one but i am not sure the price, and to travel all the way to the embassy and back when i am sure someone knows here is much better and easier, plus how long does applying for a new passport take?

Information: I just returned back from laos, it seems that its true, if you have many tourist visa's that they will deny anyone a visa,

just a warning to those whom are going thereand have many tourist visas to their passport. I went with a visa company and was still turned down, so not even a company can save you. also they told me that cambodia does not count or care how many visas you have,so go to them

    thank you in advance

  12. Here is your information and prices (I ride this boat everyday to my work,

From WTC you can go as far as bangkapi (2 stops after the mall is the end station (18 baht). before those stps are the university, the mall big C, and a few others, they also stop at asoke, nana, thong lor, ekkamai (prices range from 18 baht to 16, 14, 12, and 8 baht) depending on how far your going,

They are correct, dont sit near the sideor you will get wet (sometimes) and its foul smelling water. sit in the front or stand near the engine, No there are no fumes from the engine or smoke like some have said

    hope this helps

  13. Hello all, I love coming on this site and reading others peoples things and news and sometimes commenting on them but now i have a few questions and i hope to get some answers since my visa is about to expire in about 2 weeks

1st, Latly i have been hearing of these so called red stamps in laos, are these just rumors and if not, what does it mean, does it mean i would not be allowed to enter laos again if i had one, or any other country for that matter (Unless i used a agent as ive been told)?

2nd, i read on this site that the free visas are going to continue through 2010, does this mean they are not ending in march or did i read that wrong?

    thank you for your assistance

  14. Hey guys and gals,

I have been noticing that some girls are starting to wear the leather or latex style dresses like they did in the 80's. i am wondering where can i buy. I am not talking about the sexy clothes that you would normally see some street girls wearing, i am neaming ive seen just normal ppl walking on the street, just a normal skirt, dress or long skirt,

they are very professional in looks,

just wondering where i can find

  15. I know this is short term, but i need an answer as soon as possible, I heard its open on monday cause its not a government holiday, but ive also heard that its closed cause it is still a holiday, anyone can confirm,

my visa expires on monday, my work was not able to assist me on my visa till monday i wanted to do it earlier as a just in case, but i had to wait,

thank you for your answers and support

  16. Hey,

I have a general question about getting my marrage visa, My work has prepaired all my papers, showing that i make 40K a month and taxes are all straighten out and all papers are final and ready, all i need to know is how much will the visa cost me

Ive been told many prices by my friends such as 29K (hire someone to do it)

(5K to KL) and others in between, but no stright number

I want to use jacksgolf since they go to cambodia immagration now they once told me over 30K and i dont think they understood me, but maybe someone here does, please get back to me, myvisa expires in 3 weeks (yes its alot of time) but i also read that visa fees are being waived for thenext 3 months, (all visas) so will the visa be free?

  17. I have been doing some reasearch on getting a Non-O (marrage visa) and i was told that i can go to KL for a multiple entry or Penang for a single entry, I have all the documents but there is one listed on the website that i dont unbderstand (Family book) me and my wife are not sure what that is, please lighten up the situation and tell me

    thanx

  18. I do not know where or what topic file to put this in so i will just add it to general and let the moderators move it to the correct place,

Here is what i want to know, I have traveled up and down wireless road multiple times due to the fact its on my way home from work, I have noticed the embassy (USA) is closed due to construction, Is it open maybe at another road or gate and if i want to go where can i access it, I have not ever seen an open gate or even a visa line like normal, so anyone know if the embassy has moved till construction is over or is there a second entrence that i have missed, I want to change my passport cause of water damage, most of the stamps and my photo is runny and hard to see,
