  1. I dont know if its money money money but I think and believe (tell me if I'm wrong..) someone with the proper insurance should just stop and call insurance+police and get it sorted out.

you pay insurance and you have insurance because u want and need them in case of accident.

actually you shouldn't deal with the "thai family" what so ever ... you have insurance, you covered let the insurance do the "dirty job" for you.

Again,I'm talking about europe,no families here to deal with, all pass the insurances and u just continue with your life ..

Tell me more about thailand rules in this case as I pay insurance for my "peace of mind"..

    :o

  2. hi monty, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your answer.. :o

I don't care much about the speed (although it is an important factor..) I just want to have internet, not breaks down-up-down..

and I do agree with yo that it happan when they made "upgrade" from 1mb to 2mb for the same price ..you want know something??it went slower(!)

    such a bull-sh#$ service.

do they really think its acceptable that I'll pay full price and get half?

ps: after lots of screaming and bother them in the office..(alot..really alot..)I paid the last 2 months in discount..

  3. ok so my story is kind of normal in thailand.. :o

I had tot adsl, first they were ok but then in was impossible to work on the net with their line.

    OK

so I changed to tt&t adsl ..same story..last 3-4 months I always on-off-on-off.the local technician knows me very well as he came to my place about 10-12 time in the last 4 months... :D whatever he tried it didnt worked ..cables,routers,line box in&outside.. NOTHING..sometimes ok but I want ALWAYS ok or at least 99% working.

So..now I think again company to CAT ..what do you think?

and what is it HI-Net by CAT or tt&t ?

will I see any difference and improve in my connection or will it be the same just different company collect the money?? :D

    ADVICE PLEASE.

  4. ok but if you compare toyota corola purchase that make about 1/13

and isuzu 3.L diesel makes about the same so....??

*I try to say that its not logical decision to buy pick-up decause the diesel when thinking of "diesel saves money" but when it comes to reality toyota corola less noisy and comftable will make about the same if not better..

    dont u agree with me?

  5. light in dashboard mostly not "say nothing"..

a case that happan to me 3 weeks ago:

the car has been in service "isuzu".

I drive for 1 week..and then in the middle of the road the light comes up ok I drive little bit more (it wasnt a long trip so I continued 1 km further) when I stopped the car I looked what was the reason the light came up , to make it short-the mechanics forget to close the pipe where the brake fluid running and I had to take off the wheel and close it (make it stronger with a tool ) and add more brake fluid that ran out while I was driving.

it cound have been worst and I could had lost my brakes while I'm driving (!!)

*check if u see something wierd going on under the car and open the front of the car to see whats going on.

  6. please explain me as I'm lost here with the original OP,

from what I understand he paid for the whole year tax on income 40K and still experienced some problems with the yearly tax/income.

    CONFUSED mak mak.. :o

My problem was that in the last tax year I had employment income for 6 months only, and so the tax paid was paid on an amount less than 480,000 baht. The solution was to go to the tax department and declare some more income, pay tax on it, and submit a new application to immigration. That did the trick.

ITS EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

if in my case- I pay just 2.5 months before apply for the visa.. I not pay on the amount of 480K.

    Its simple:

    I paid tax on 1 year income = 20K/month.

3 months before apply I declare income of 40K/month (upgrade my income and tax).

How do you calculate it to be income of 480K I DONT UNDERSTAND.

    :D

  7. I really dont understand what situation am I right now (!)

I have a non 'O' based on marriage that I got from my country.

now,its going to end in about 3 months.

what I thought to do (with the advice of sunbelt in one of these messages before 1 year) is before the "non 'O' " finish to go to the tax office and declare on income of 40K a month and of course pay tax for this income.

and that's all..I can show immigration that I have income of 40K a month with the tax documents and get the 1 year visa easily.

No mention for the minimum period before make the application.

:D SO WHATS GOING ON? ?

Nothing is going on , its like Sunbelt said .

The only thing is now that it actually is 12 times 40k= 480.000 baht .

The other members proved now that the combination of money earned

in the year exceeding 480k , and proven papers as tax does also do

the trick ...... so not necessarily 40k every month .

Poster Viktor wrote that he did it with 360k provable income and

some cash in the bank exceeding 480k the year could be done .

Also new for me this information , which gives a way to try it at least ,

probably differs at what immigration when applying , cause they all

    have their own rules .

Anyway the way you doing it is obvious the best way , when not making

it month to month , for what I understand now , the yearly is alright .

Although it still remains the same 480k plus ......

    how?

I paid tax for income 20K per month * 12= 240K yearly income.

now (next week) I'll go to apply for higher income (the 40K we're talking about to match the visa requirments),then after 2.5 months (ie:when my non 'O' multy entry will almost expired) I will go to immigration with a record of only 3 months/or less then this of 40K a month.

please explain me as I'm lost here with the original OP,

from what I understand he paid for the whole year tax on income 40K and still experienced some problems with the yearly tax/income.

  9. Auto .

if you just drive normal ; no mud,no snow or any other speciel condition , so automatic.

auto is little bit more expensuve to run but the comfort..ha...thats something that manual can never give..

auto needs more attention and care, take it to service and change oil and whatever need and thats all.

if you try to save few bahts here and there..go for manual.no question at all.

  10. its not only thai mentality its all over the world.. maybe you spent the last decate in the moon so u r not update.

if it was 12K euro .

buy second hand 8K would you talk like this?!....

    haaa....its baht..its thailand..its cheap(!)...

    pathetic..
