He doesn't have a medical condition, I bet he has a dozen medical certificates that all say he is healthy, the one he used for driver's license application is the most important one.
Im not condoning anything but these certificates take no longer than 90 seconds to get and consist of nothing more than a half assed blood pressure reading and a quick feel of some glands on your neck.....

So we will have the Condom Police checking all the bedrooms in the country.
They do it in Malaysia

My three phonelines are dead, cables cut and stolen!

Although the photos are not high quality, I think his passport was issued 22nd February 2007 by FCO. (Foreign & Commonwealth Office) That means - or used to mean - that it was not issued in Bangkok or another non-commonwealth location.
Mine says FCO and it was issued in BKK in '05.

Johnny, one other point. I have heard from several people that the Thai embassy in Manilla is NOT a good place for anyone to try to get a visa. If you are there anyway you could give it a try, but shouldn't expect much. If you do try there, please post here your experience. Good luck.
Its the same with the one in Phnom Penn, but the embassys reasoning for this is that there role is to serve locals and not anyone who decides to do a Visa run there. Going on this a Philippines citizen shouldnt have a problem?

Can you get one if you had a Non-B before but never had a work permit?
Do they request a work permit for the application?
-
I would have thought that provided your building it for your own use it wont be a prob... ?

There was a group of Filipina birds @ the Thai Embassy in Vientiane last time I was there a few months ago, they didnt seem to have any probs and were in the que to get their passports with Visas back the following day.

What exactly is the problem with MICT?
Is that a trick question?

How much are the originals?

This rumour has been circulating for around 6 months now
Try 4 years...

Quite funny reading this thread... Where was it mentioned they were foreigners? One was actually traveling on a Thai passport & would not even to do a visa run so make your own minds up who the gulity person was.

why.. what happened?

This is not the official guidebook and is not detailed enough. The computer CD I viewed was about 30 minutes long & had about 15 sections. There was a book in Thai available in the office, but I am looking for an English version.
Use the mock test machines outside the test room for half an hour & you won't have a prob...

Perhaps they've put a dodgy stick on 2nd hand RAM in it, best get ya husband to go and sort em out.

If there on a standard issue DVD why arent they selling for B100?
Not sure, but the original xbox games were more expensive too (and those where on regular DVD-Rs)
I think it is because there is less supply. In an area there may be 30 stores selling DVDs, thus driving the price down. Whereas there may only be 1 or 2 that sell xbox 360 games.
PS2 games were always B100...

Bangkok Airways does this also when you make payment @ one of their airport booths..
-
Next they'll be putting out guidelines telling chefs & waitresses not to wipe their asses with their hands and to wash them after taking a dump.... I sometimes wonder whats taught in schools here

for all you crazy dave detractors, simple just don't go there, i personaly have eaten there many times and find the food to be some of the best quality and value to be had anywhere in Pattaya, also his breakfast is the best in town.
best breakfasts in town.. Maybe if you only have 100 baht to spend, or whatever it costs..

And you could start a thread like this for almost all SE Asian countries.....

"healthful exercise".. Riding a bike thru bangkoks traffic/fumes everyday is not what you'd call "healthful", after 5 minutes in certain areas I imagine you'd have a headache, irritated eyes and be feeling dizzy...
