Bday Prang, you got me thinking. I reckon the bad guys are following their bliss. I say the components used in creating their bliss are found in their (our) basic human nature. Self preservation at all costs. Selfishness. Drive to reproduce. Need for power; control/dominance over others. Greed. Taking what they don't have. Keeping what they have. Could simply say always selfishness first instead of selflessness. Bad guys always ultimately fail but oh they take so many others with them who are caught up in their bliss. Regarding the politics of the day, I personally prefer to have a Bible class person governing me than a bad guy only pursuing what they want. It's hard to arrive at an answer about how does a bad guy ever become a good guy? By his own power? Wisdom from remembering the numerous painful consequences of suffering as a result of some stronger bad guy's selfishness? Experiencing community justice that guaranteed punishment of bad behavior? Reconditioning the human nature after years, decades of FAFO? I personally think it takes an outside force to intervene and cause dominance over my human nature. Can a sour apple tree ever become a sweet apple tree on its own? I don't think I have the power to change my own human nature. Looking back on my life, I can say (without an intervention) I am naturally a bad guy because I know the bad things I did in my life for the selfish reasons I had to those others who were in Bible class. The reason I posted the Bible quotes is the ideas within them are worth considering. Do you see any benefit pausing in life to consider through the wisdom of the above verses things like how you're thinking? What you're thinking? Why you're thinking the way you do? That's all. I can't register because all required documents must have my full name and address on them before AI accepts an upload. I see Thai police pick ups using different patterns of lights on their roof racks. Does anyone know if there meaning behind all the different light patterns? In America, the cops will use a certain pattern of emergency lights to tell you they want you to pull over and stop at the side of the road. I've never seen a Thai police truck pull anyone over in my years living here... usually they'll pull you over at roadblocks. Just curious. Thanks!

I purchased potatoes from Makro for the purpose of letting them sprout (chit) and then planting them in my garden. Weeks go by and the eyes on the potato just sit there and look at me. Whatever "eyes" on the potato are dormant, no growth at all. Is it possible the supplier treats the potatoes with some sort of sprouting inhibitor? I would like to know where I can get seed potatoes in the Samut Songkhram area or if anyone knows of reputable supplier of seed potatoes on Lazada. Thank you.

The ants have come back after a number of weeks. I think if an insect could be intelligent, it would be these ants. They've built their nests very high up in my golden chain tree where I can't get to them with a fiery torch. They behaved themselves for a long time staying on the fence line and not encroaching into our living space... until recently. Bite! Ouch! Bite! Ouch! They have the ability to crawl up my legs undetected and crawl into the short pants I'm wearing. I have learned to do a respectable Irish jig since then. So, I figured I will somehow interrupt their highway up and down the tree trunk. I discovered fly paper. I secure the fly paper to the tree trunk with push pins and seal any gaps with Vaseline. BRAVO! It works! The ants just gather in larger and larger numbers above and below the fly paper and seem to ponder how to defeat this latest challenge. So far, their engineers remain stumped on how to resolve this problem. And I walk around my yard now free to enjoy the whole space! Life is good.

My small property has been taken over by weaver ants. They kept spreading throughout our yard that we had to stay inside our house in effort to not be bitten by tens or twenty at once of these territorial aggressive things. I got tired of hearing my family yelling in pain as they made their way to and from our house. We cannot enjoy our small outdoor area at all. I tried many different suggestions from internet and Youtube websites about deterring the ants and none have worked except for a recent discovery. I found where the nests were in the trees around my house. I splashed gallons of soapy water around and on the tree trunks to make a corridor for me to get close to the trees. I then smeared a ring of petroleum jelly about three inches thick around the trunk. This stopped all ant traffic up and down the trees. I then got a 4 meter bamboo pole and made a torch by tying some old rags around the end with wire and soak the rags in 90% alcohol. I then proceeded to torch each nest I could find. It’s been a week now and I have seen maybe 10 weavers on the ground but none in the trees. It’s a blessing to be able to walk around our small yard freely again and enjoy the outdoors. I’m trying ground cinnamon at the base of the tree trunks and the ants do run from it. We live out in country and there are no farms or orchards nearby. I know weavers are good for keeping garden and farm pests at bay however we have no need of them and I put my family’s safety above the ants every time. By the way, there was no one who could help us with our ant problem so I had to DIY
