guys just want to asked.. has anyone heard of a ford ranger 3.2 MT 4x4 with transmission problems? im over here in the philippines.. my friend couldnt wait for the new hilux and didnt want to buy the current hilux model too.. so they bought the ranger. i warned them that there are lots of unsolved problems with the ranger.. but its not me buying it so i told them to get what they want.. with less than 5k,the transmission locked up in first gear.. cant shift at all.. the clutch is ok..as you can still drive the car in first gear only. its been in the Ford dealer now for 3 weeks still no results.
thanks guys..

hi guys.. just have a few questions that i am curios about.. i recently came back from Papua new guinea.. while there i had the chance to drive the ford 3.2 XLT 4x4 6speed MT. it was very good to drive. you can really feel the power.. one thing i noticed though was that the only the 3.2 had the decals on the sides with the 3.2 markings.. while the others only have Ranger written on the sides.. which i assume would be the 2.2 powered ones.. the part im curious about pertains to the rear bumper.. most of the rangers i saw in PNG had the bumper with the plate numbers under the bumper.. i only saw one with the plate number above.. in contrast here in Manila i have only seen a few with the rear bumpers with the plate numbers under.. what is the advantage and what are the reasons for the different designs?

keep it up toyota.. you were 7 years ahead of the others.. heheh.. i didnt say they are the same. all i said was they all seem to look like a hilux.. but of course that would be for the untrained eyes.. for those who are here on this forum.. my bad.. i know you all have very keen eyes and can see at once the differences.. peace to all..

could the water have gotten in through the intercooler hoses,, just thinking.. as that would be the lowest part that water can enter..

they should bring the V6 diesel navara to thailand. then that would be the most powerful pickup in thai.. wouldnt it be?
You can have more power with a cheap chip on any 4 pot diesel.
if you put in a cheap chip on the V6 diesel then what?
Bigger smile eh.
hahaha.. good one sir.

they are also available here in the philippines.. but it looks ugly.. looking from the back, you could mistake it for a toyota avansa...

just remove the OEM alarm system and install an all new car alarm system. im pretty sure there are alarm systems that are activated by cell fones for less than the 20k remote key..

if's its free.. then there no difference.. if you have to pay for it.. then the difference is in your wallet. heheh.. BTW there are some tire shops that have a filter system that totally removes the moisture from the air that you pump into your tire.. i guess that would make it as good as nitrogen then, because the moisture wont be present to corrode your rims.. if in fact mags can still get corroded. just for the experts out there.. would air with no moisture be considered pure nitrogen or just ordinary air with no water molecules?

can someone post the inside dimensions of the pick ups available.. i think this is the most important.. after all a thicker fender would make a few inches significant to make a car wider..and a bumper would also make it longer..
