  1. Inexpensive, sround 300baht for the head and full gasket and seal set ... 90% of gasket set I have no idea where its supposed to go so shall be fun 😅 I've already disconnected the pump its not a big deal to live without, water pressure is not bad without it..... Now its pure ego to fix it myself since i wasted time replacing the pressure switch 2 monthes ago and cut the wrong wire and was a PITA to fix it 😅
  2. I have found gasket set and "head" on Lazada, I will think I will replace it all and if I <deleted> it up doesn't matter i'll just buy one.
  3. Don't need advice for new pump brands thanks, I would just buy the same pump if I needed to but got no interest in putting a brand new pump on these pipes if the water is indeed leaking from the main pipe ... Fixing this pump would tell me if it is leaking or not, the pipe has already been "fixed" once for 30k so next time would need to replace the entire water pipe of house and its a big job, would rather get the pump working in a stable condition.
  4. WOuld also like to add, according to this diagram I found on Thaivisa Both the Hopper Cap and the Check Valve are filled to brim with water, but I don't have a clue what either is for 😄
  5. My pump was turning on and off every 10 or 20 seconds at go at the begaining, then it got to point it was just turning on non stop so I had to turn it off apart from taking showers ... The house had a water leakbetween living room roof and bathroom floor before (still does) and so I presumed that pressure was causing it but I took a look and noticed there was water pssing out the pressure switch so I bought one and replaced it. Then as soon as I replaced it, there was a leak pissing out of a screw on the head, I believe it's called the head as I just saw the part on Lazada and it's called a pump head in Thai. I've been procrastinating to look at for monthes instead I just turn pump off 99% of time unless i'm showering upstairs as I have decent waterpressure without it as I live in Rangsit / BKK . However during the 10minutes I use it, it started to make a loud grinding sound and now its advanced to just making this a deep hollow souding noise instead of the high pitched pumps make when they're on so knowing its probabbly ruined already I went out there to tackle it again today. I removed the screw with a socket, still couldn't see where leak is coming from or whats causing it and I know absoultely zero about house pumps I never saw a single one in my life apart from in Thailand. I tried switching better looking screws around as they're all the same size on the head and it made no difference apart from making the leak worse lol. I presume the whole head needs to come off and theres a gasket that needs replacing but part of me feels thats a waste of time and money as it's a sympton not the root cause. Anyone got any ideas? i uploaded some clips of the issue, ignore the sound that is not the sound it is currently making these were from a few monthes ago. Im dedicated to fixing it myself (Im terrible at DIY) because I believe its near death already and a pump technican wanted to charge me 2k+ when I shown him the leaking pressure switch which was 300b and I feel like im gonna end up having to buy a new pump anyway. 446379364_8136592873040084_4050552434640597319_n.mp4
  6. Is it possible to get a visa at a Thai Embassy (Saigon) with only two pages left in the passport? I have page 48 and 49 free, page 49 is last page and on back of that is the emergency contacts page, page 48 has some nonsense written on it from BKK airport but technically you could fit a sticker on it. i have a bunch of free space on other pages for stamps which isn't the problem but are they likely to do it or is there some rule that forbids using the last page?
  7. Just stating facts, theres 3 out of 3 people in this thread who has done their extension in BKK and not seen or heard of a TM30.
  8. BKK = Bangkok, clearly im not talking about the airport from the context and BKK has always refered to Bangkok long before swampy ever existed. I was on visa excempt, just stating facts I've never seen or heard of a TM30 at CW or any immigration office in BKK, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakarn yes it was requested pre covid. I have not done a visa extension in BKK since covid purely because issues I had with staff and I can't stand the amount of tourists, this was my first time since then and I observed everyone there was no TM30 in sight or any notifcations / guidelines about it. DOesn't make sense to ask backpackers who have been here for 30 days in some hostel in but<deleted> nowhere to apply for a TM30 thats not stated or taught anywhere when you have 500+ queues everyday and are overloaded. I haven't read the news on visa rules in god knows how long and I've had no issues (apart from one airport deny) being on tourist visas (90% excempt) in the last 7 years with zero TM30s. Yet every thread here on and FB is doom and gloom about getting fined and how you need to make a TM30 everytime you roll over to a different side of the bed.
  9. COsts 200k to get this fixed from a visa agent in Pattaya, a immigration guy drove my friend south from BKK toa deep south border and he had to spend the day taking pictures coming in and out. he had 16 monthres overstay, that was one-two years ago and he's been able to come in several times and hes on a non imm b now through aonther agent.
  10. I went and even asked about a TM30, it's not required in BKK and from my 13 years experince it's never been required nor have i ever done one .... Just a myth the "visa experts" like to bang on about. ALso I made up the address as I've been living in Hua Hin since covid (don't need one there either) and no ones ever batted an eye lid about my real address in BKK.
  11. Can fly into Udon, take a van from airport for 100b to bridge about 45m, theres a shuttle that goes through both sides of the bridge for 10b every 20 mins or so but not sure you're allowed to come back the same day ... Do the Laos e-visa while you're at it to save time, money and passport page. Theres also a van or taxi from Nong Khai bridge to Ubon airport. Don;t need any TM 30 for anything other than extensions at immigration and I haven't used one, ever.
  12. Thanks, haven't been there since covid for good reason.
  13. Whats with the 7 pages of nonsense? You were already given advice that you needed on first page? Whats the big deal? This happened to me last September, I stayed in airport over night in the hotel, flew back to Saigon the next morning with the same airline, vietnam gave me another stamp after Thai BS with passport ... I went to embassy and got a visa, flew into chiang mai and then to BKK. If I couldn't get a visa at embassy I would just try CNX but as this is a new year, just do a border crossing at Laos with 10k funds, a ticket out of thailand and a hotel for the duration of stay .... Easy peazy, the stamp in passport means nothing, I got it in mine and still have a visa. All the documents required for visa and entry are very very simple to obtain and are not double or cross checked.
  14. Anyone been to either recently and wIll they ask for a TM30 for a tourist extension at IT square or Sam Yam? I'm not registered in BKK and I know they don't at Chaeng Wattana but don't want to go there.
  15. Has anyone done this recently? What's the process after boarding the boat of stamping in and out of Burma and how much do you pay them?
