Anyone had any recent experience with the long term parking at BKK? Still 140b pr day? Easy to find? Google maps and street view is a bit confusing as to how to get there?

Chonburi LTD
Was there on Thursday to renew DL, closed for holiday. Was planning on tomorrow, but if they are saying "come back in 20 days" I don't know...
Anyone got a pin/adress for Rayong LTD? Queue there too?

Gonna renew my 5 year DL next week, car only at Chonburi, I hear it's easier there than Banglamung. I've got med cert and res cert. Anyone know if I need to copy passport too, which pages? Thanks.
-
Thanks @Ralf001 I'll give it a try when I'm up for renewal next month. Looks promising on Street View, only a couple of cars parked outside.

Yes, you need that too
If you got both motorbike and car, do you need two of everything? Res cert and med cert?

Even bigger? Ridiculous size on those things.

Slightly off topic again. I got no printer (and no stapler), so bit of a hassle to make a receipt to keep in passport, would keep the pdf in my phone. You think I'd get trouble next visit to imm for something else? Anyone any experience?

Mr J, so how much cash discount did you get?
Bought my new Civic in February. Test sit in Na Jomtien, they offered me 250k for my old Toyota, wanted 5k for first year insurance. Honda Thailand in Bangkok gave me 300k for my old car plus free insurance and dash cam. Worth a couple of trips to Bangkok.

been in Bluetooth mode and on
Sorry if I take you for a fool ???? , but you talking about Bluetooth lead me to ask if you got mobile data on, or wifi connection to the internet? Bluetooth is for linking your phone to nearby devices, your car or headphones for playing music and such.

About service every 6 months, they said that to me too about my new Civic. But this must be nonsense when you, like me only drive about 7-8k km a year? I thought modern cars had service intervals of 15-20k km. My plan is, yes, after first 6 months, when it will probably have about 4k on the clock, but after that only every year.
I also miss a service book, but at least I hope I get a receipt showing the actual milage on every service, so I got milage prof when it's time to sell.

So, if you are pulled over by the BIB with a 10 months expired DL, they won't mind? Or hint about some tea money?

Dealers charge a deposit for the red plates
That's right Transam, was 3000b. BTW, do you know if I get the white plates from the dealer later, or do I have to go to the Transport Office? Would be good if I could avoid that.

Buying a new Honda Civic in Bangkok next week, I live in Hua Hin and intend to go straight home on red plates - Dealer say "No Problem"...

So I could carry the cassette and/or photo around for days/weeks.
Hey Orchidfan, PM me the photo? I take it there's no name or anything showing, so I can just use yours, swearing I am negative, or at least feeling so...:)

I bought a TOT unlimited sim one year
I have learned not to trust the word "unlimited", you sure about this? I consume about 200GB a month...
BTW, what is this ไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ที่ความสูงตึก เกิน 5 ชั้น
Doesn't work above 5th floor? TOT signals don't fly above a certain height, like mosquitos?

The insurance for those 9 months seems very heavy but
Why not do it like PoorSucker, buy a cheap refundable ticket to Singapore 14 days later to show together with insurance for 14 days?

After I replaced the PSU, status is now: All fans start, all RGB lights goes on, EXCEPT the RGB lights on the RAM sticks, they are dark. Waterpump working. Nothing on the screen, no POST from BIOS. The RAM sticks gets warm, they wouldn't do that if they were dead, would they? No beeps, I got no systemboard speaker, going to Tukcom to get one now.

I built this PC with one purpose only, to play Microsoft Flight Simulator. And then it go and dies on me after one year...

I think it should start even if the CMOS battery is dead
-
I also suspected the PSU because it WAS cheap. But I have now replaced it with a 4 times more expensive Coolermaster. Sadly everything is still dead. You think a bad PSU could have killed the motherboard or CPU? I have tried clearing CMOS.
-
I've got 2 modules, and I thought the same as you, unlikely they both fail at the same time. But the first symptom was, no POST on the screen and RAM RGB lights was dark, while the other RGB and fans started. Now all is dead. Guess I'll go to Tukcom then.
Does anyone know where to get an EZ pass in Pattaya

M-flow seems to be the optimal system, no transmitter needed. But that's only on motorway 9, right? Why the hell can't they install that everywhere? On motorway 7 Pattaya-BKK too?
