You’ve got a shop in your condo? You posh bastard.

Hard to find but it's brewed by San Miguel and still has plenty of strength/taste.
I can't stand drinks like Leo, it's what my old man used to call knob wash, as it was only good for washing your d1ck with
In flip land red horse is usually only drunk warm by ladyboys.

Anymore? Thieves use guns and kill these days. Are they allowed to do that now? The whole situation is ugly and sad. And yes, they still do it, not physically but psychologically. How many convicted of a crime have said something to the effect of they said whatever the police wanted them to say just to get out of the interrogation room. Yes, they still do it.
Are you ex-law enforcement Jim?

If what you mean by "they absolutely get us" is that they're much more desperate than their Thai sisters, then I'd agree. It seems like every Filipino woman that I've ever met in the PI was desperate to get out of the PI.
Disagree.
Show a Filipina and episode of Dads Army and they’ll laugh their tits off. Show it to a Thai and she will play Candy Crush.
They want to get out of flip land to further themselves. Thais are too bloody lazy to do anything.
A lot of deck hands and cleaners I work with offshore worldwide are Filipinos. Not a Thai in sight. Same with the Health Service in UK and USA.

At this stage of the thread, I feel like I have walked into an old western style saloon after a gunfight, all the tables have overturned and blood is mixed with the sawdust on the floor.
Settle down and have a watered down whiskey on me!
Bit of a myth really. Most of them couldn’t afford guns, or bullets for that matter. Kick the sh1t3 of each other and a few stabbings, but gun fights were rare. Must be bored, burd with huge knockers is still in the shower.

You’ll get used to it after a few years.... unfortunately.

If you lived in Chiang Mai you wouldn’t want to go out to the bars here as basically they are <deleted>. I think a lot of the hatred / banter / arguements here are due to sad old git’s stuck in a situation they refuse to admit to. Personally, I come on here for a laugh. There are one or two good guys on here who don’t take themselves too seriously and can laugh at themselves. Unfortunately, there also a lot of knobs.

I don’t know even know why they have amber lights here, or red, come to think of it.

Don't know about the boobs but definitely friendlier and more fun. I have only been 3 times and never been to a bar there. Had lots on offer away from the bars.
Oh yeah, shopping malls... anywhere, allegedly

Been staying in recently. Went for a beer with my mate Thursday and in the evening my eyes were stinging and streaming. Didn’t think the pollution was that bad that day, but my my body told me different.

Hand him over to the NYPD (New York Police Department) and they'll wipe that silly smile right off his thieving face...
As much as I agree with that, are they allowed to do that anymore?

Don't understand why OP doesn't just go on holiday to the Philippines for a few weeks and mine the mother lode.
Tickets are cheap ............
And the women have bigger boobs, friendlier, funnier, drink like a fish and some of the bars are 24 hours... oh and the beers are about half the price. LA Cafe in Ermita is the place.
or so I’m lead to believe, as obviously I have never been there guv.

Personally I think going and seeing new parts of the world when you're young is much more appealing than waiting until you are old and stale which is what most people on TV seem to have done. If you are young there is a possibility that you will enjoy life rather than being a miserable old fart.
Also if he is a true digital nomad with proper skills it does not mean that he will be getting the standard wages here.
When I was young I was constantly skint. Traveling abroad wasnt an option. Work and work. The bank of mummy and daddy didn’t exist. Eventually uni, still skint. Good job and moved on, packed that industry, done hee haw for a while then went offshore. Long hard slog. Now I can do what I want. And I’m not 22 anymore.

No, they never replied ........
but I did score a kids bike (just under half price) for my 7yo boy from another guy leaving this week.
Nice looking 7 gear Shimano MTB (20" wheels) plus helmet for 1k2 which I didn't think was too bad a price.
If Mr. Blue bike is still around, I've still got 7k for him.
Good effort for your lad. Better that than the Chinese crap the sell around here.
