I prefer quality, the German sourdough bread is the best if you can find it.
Das BackHaus is still open I believe

I did a lot of bicycling along beach road, but I would never take my chances at the main roads. Especially at night.

Nothing helps the OP, he wants to buy.

If you want real healthy bread , the German bakery it is.

I used my Thai DL in Vegas , at the casinos some years ago. Instead of my EU passport. They were a bit sceptical, but it worked.

You can rent a +50sqm with corner balcony here for 120.000 per year, don't have corner balcony but can easily sit eight person in mine, government rate electric, gym, pool, 24h security, underground garage. Mine is 48sqm, 100.000 furnished
Exactly, and still people want to buy. For 10k/month you get a lot of value if you spend some time to pick the right location and building. And then when you do not like the location anymore, due to noise or other things, you just move, simple as that.

We can speculate all we want but the accident happened at 5 AM in the morning. Wrong time to be out on the roads with a bike, especially if you are a foreigner.
Maybe he was intoxicated, maybe not, but some people do not think about the consequences. RIP.

They should test all passengers for drugs before they are allowed on the flight, that would teach them a lesson.
But I do not understand why the plane did not return to Bangkok when the fight started early just after takeoff?

I have issues on the other side, where Samsung won't update my Thai bought phone because it's not a model that was made for the country where I reside. Beyond A05s, there's a part number that's different for each market.
I have no advice regarding the OPs current dilemma, just some info for anyone thinking about importing a phone. It may not work out as easy as it looks.
No problem with updates here , and I spend most of my time in Europe, bought my Samsung TH model in Bangkok. So don't understand the problem you have.
I do have a Samsung account registered in Thailand and make sure to log in from that user name.

Some phones are not available on the Thai market.
Which ones? The official Samsung stores in Bangkok seem to stock most models. The only difference is the languages offered from the factory. Thai and English supported anyway.

I think Colombia could be a nice alternative. I have not reached retirement age yet but I think I will visit S-America and see what they have to offer. Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish but it would be easier to learn than Thai.
But it depends on the costs, I do not expect a big pension.

I never understood why people buy phones from Europe when they live in Thailand. I bought all my Samsung phones in Bangkok. Not much difference in price anyway.

Don't do it. Unless you have money to waste. Been there, done that.
When your noisy neighbor starts getting on you nerves you wish you never paid a big sum of money for it. You can instead sign a 12 month rental contract and move out any time. Rent is cheap in Thailand.

Waste of resources, anyone over the age of 18 should be left alone.

I would think most of them are suicides, Pattaya draw people in with mental issues, combined with drugs or booze and it's easy to make the wrong decision.

You are needed at the front, get ready for war.

This is very sad news indeed. I studied in London in the early 80's and his voice was always on Radio 1 in the afternoon.
As I was studying business English at the time (I'm Norwegian), I used the radio a lot and his voice was very relaxing. I also remember him from Radio Luxemburg, now that must have been a few years before he joined BBC, I think in the late 70's.Then I rediscovered him many years later through the BBC iPlayer app and his show Steve Wright in the Afternoon on Radio 2.
He was the real deal and will be sorely missed by many. RIP.

Looking to buy a condo in Pattaya
in Pattaya

There are many around and you can just go to Facebook and ask the several agents about long term rent for 10k-12k, pretty new 1 br condos with pool and a gym.

Since this thread is about buying and not renting I think we should leave it at that.
But since you asked, I lived in Paradise Park, Jomtien , 34 sqm is not a big condo but it was modern and new, as the pictures show. I loved it, especially the pool was amazing.
