  1. Update:

After had to return 1 item of an order (defective), I received a return coupon and I tried to withdraw the complete amount in my wallet.

I received the complete refund (THB 824.26) on 24th July, but the wallet still shows the complete amount.

Now my account seems not to be frozen anymore and I tried to Top Up. At least the first top up step worked .......... more I didn´t try ....... I want to avoid the wallet is frozen again ????

THB 0.12 are still missing, but for that I don´t fight with Lazada.

It´s confusing, but if the status of my wallet is stable now, it would be o.k. for me - ordering, COD, refunds via coupon in the wallet and withdraw with this "xform" - more is not neccessary.

    Lazada-Wallet_2020-07-26.jpg

  2. I tried to clear this case in endless chats with the customer service and sent emails to them aswell, without the final result to withdraw the complete amount, but with many "sorry" and "don´t worry".

I will try it the last time with that xform again - if this not works I will file a complaint against Lazada at the consumer protection board in the Phuket City Hall (it´s directly under der Gouverneur`s office). The consequence will be, that they schedule a mediation meeting there and Lazada must send a representive - that is a Government office and both sides must show up there.

    Your wallet is not frozen.

Once you fill in the bank details for a withdrawal the amount will be marked frozen, because it takes up to a week to show in your bank account

Before my wallet has been frozen, the amount in the withdraw process was frozen, but now my wallet is frozen (see attached pic). For de-freeze it´s necessary to re-activate the wallet but this is not possible if you are NON-Thai.

It is not possible to withdraw from my wallet (see attached pic).

  4. Hi you all right and (some) not 100%,

    my case :

I was nearly forced to activate this wallet. I prefer COD but the wallet was necessary to withdraw refunds to bank acc.. Before was possible to withdraw refunds directly without having this (senseless) wallet.

Only once I made a top up in order to use a voucher. Now THB 0.12 left from the top up.

All the return-coupons reversed or not are transfered an my bank acc. only THB 370.- + 0.12 not. I agree it´s not a big amount which is left in the wallet, but it started with more than THB 2,000.- - anyway it´s my money and I want to use it for purchasing or have it back on my acc. - that is my principle.

This xform from Lazada I used many times and step by step it worked, but now nothing is happening.

In case your wallet is frozen it is not possible anymore to click on the amount to withdraw - frozen is frozen and foreigners are unable to re-activate the wallet. The only chance is that xform.

I prefer COD, the drivers all call me and if I`m not at home, I make an appointment. Only 1 driver didn`t call and I wrote this in my review. The next time the driver excused and since that, he also calls - so Lazada has an eye on that and talked with the driver - good !

Sometimes the driver see me on the street with motorbike and stoppes me for delivery on the street ????

All (or at least many) foreigners should write a complaint about the wallet together and send it to the CEO James Dong. I have sent an Email to him already ([email protected]) and I didn´t receive an automatic answer "mail was not delivered" or so, so I think some one read it.

We also could send it to Jack Ma (Alibaba) - Alibaba "owns" Lazada.

They should know that we will no longer accept this wallet practice.

Who could write such a complaint in good business English ?

As "signature" we could use our customer numbers (it´s a part of each order number) as a kind of privacy.

    To be continued ...............

  5. Hello,

I´m a long time member here, but long time not posted.

Since 2 weeks I have problems with my Lazada wallet too and I searched in Net about similar problems and found them here - so I´m back in the forum.

I´m a buyer at Lazada for many years. In the past in case have to return one the high quality products from China, it was possible to initiate a transfer of the refunds directly on the Thai bank acc..

Mostly I pay cash COD, sometimes with this wallet.

Then the day came I had to open this wallet for receive refunds and from there was possible to withdraw to the bank acc. or use for other purchase - I don´t like wallets etc. but was working over some year.

On 18th of May 2020 I recognized that my wallet is "frozen" and I contacted Lazada customer service via chat. They told me something about a new policy for foreign customers and foreigners can´t have this wallet anymore. Lazada froze it without any notice !

The customer service told me I would have to use the "xform" with upload of my passport copy to withdraw my credits in my wallet to my bank account - this I did, but nothing happened.

Then some refunds arrived in my wallet and I called the customer service again, they told me please send the "xform" again and I did, again, and again and so on.

The refund coupons were "reversed" (see attachment) and I complained almost every day, with the result, that I received approx. THB 1,000.- from my wallet send from an ATM.

After many complaints Lazada told me they had to freeze my wallet, because I used a refund for purchasing another items and returned them aswell. That is true, but for what else a wallet is good for and what sould do if the shorts I ordered are much too small - keep them ?

They also told me, if I insist to receive the remaining balance in my wallet back, I must agree in closing my wallet and my customer account. After that I could open a new account, but would need a new phone number and new email address - email no problem, but new phone number no way.

As can see on the screenshot of my wallet, the credit is shrinking because of Lazada "reversed" refund coupons - why ? Until now no comment from Lazada.

I also received some emails conforming, that a transfer has been made to my bank account and 1 or 2 days later received an email informing me that the transfer was not successful because while this process I have used a part of my credits for purchasing, what I didn´t and by the way payment from the wallet is impossible because the wallet is frozen.

From customer service I only hear sorry and don´t worry.

As long as I have access to my account and wallet I made from everything relevant screeshots and prepare a court case (no my first) against Lazada now or may be if I´m in a good mood, I will file a complaint at the Customer Protection (government office) first and they will try to mediate first - mediation means this office will set up a meeting at the office the complaint was made -  in my case Phuket, so a representative from Lazada has to travel to Phuket or they have to send an attorney.

There will be 2 issues be be cleared :

    1. The balance of my wallet is approx. THB 800.- too low - what happened with these reversed coupons ?

    2. How to get my credits back on my bank acc. (approx. THB 1,200.-) the best without close my account and/or wallet ?

    To be continued .........

  6. The brother of my land lord (-lady) who translated this form and talked with them told me that since 2016 on Phuket many things regarding rented houses changed and the Tax Revenue Office is trying to get taxes from the Land Lords.

Sure the rental contract would proof all they want to be proofed, but if they ask me to confirm it in this short way, I should do what they want to do wink.png

My Land Lord (-Lady) provides everything I ask her for, but I don´t want that she get´s any trouble with that - we are like family thumbsup.gif

After I´ve got the TAX ID and claim the taxes I better will show them also the transfer slip of my funds from abroad, then everything should be cleared.

Actually, I wouldn't show them anything that they don't ask to see. Having documentation and evidence on your person is a good thing, but I wouldn't show them unbidden anything they don't ask to see. Sometimes showing more than you need to just raises more questions.

Like me you are probably retired and not working in Thailand, living off of savings (or maybe a pension) from your home country. They're interested in whether you have additional Thai income and if you don't it's kind of hard to prove a negative. What do you show to indicate that you are *not* doing something? Or don't have something (additional income)? If they accept your tax return which you will know because they will give you a receipt, then I would consider the matter of how you are living in Thailand to be addressed to their satisfaction. I wouldn't open up the subject again.

You´re right - don´t wake up sleeping dogs - I only will bring the transfer slip with me without showing them - in case they would ask me to proof where the funds are comming from I could show them the slip immediatelly.

    I still think positive smile.png

  8. @ skatewash

Do you remember which documents you was asked for only to get the Tax ID ?

Yes, that's a funny story. The only two things they wanted to see for that were my passport and proof of where I lived. Passport, of course, was no problem. Proof of where I lived was another story. .............

O.k. - now my experiences made today :

I visited the Tax Revenue Office Branch 1 (close to the jail or better in front of the provincial court in Phuket town).

They told me for Tambon Wichit I have to consult the Tax Revenue Office Branch 2 (in Chalong close to Wine Connection).

There they were very kind as well but they asked many questions about what I am doing in Thailand (retired), why I like to get a Tax ID (for claim the withholding tax) and from where the money on my account is (transfer from home country).

Then they asked for a document which is confirming my address. I offered them a water bill (on the name of the landlord), a internet bill (on my name) and a rental contract (would have to pick up and come again), but they gave me a form in Thai.

This form is a confirmation about I rent a house und I am allowed to run a business there facepalm.gif

So I called there and asked why the landlord should confirm that I am allowed to run a business in that house, that´s not what I am doing there, and why they don´t accept the rental contract.

They told me that they would need such a short document and that they only have this for run a business, but I could write an own confirmation without the allowance of running a business in Thai.

    So for now I wasn´t sucessful sad.png

After getting the confirmation from my landlord incl. ID card copy I will try to get the Tax ID again.

With Tax ID it´s possible to claim taxes for the last 3 years but has to be before 31. March 2016 for 2013 / 2014 / 2015 incl. withhold taxes deducted from interest on saving accounts. Withholding taxes are deducted from the interest on saving accounts if the interest is more than THB 20,000 per account - under THB 20.000 no WHT will be deducted and so there is nothing could claim back.

It seems to the regulations for apply a Tax ID in Thailand getting harder for expats.

  9. Wow - perfect - so many helpful answers wai2.gif

Tomorrow I will register the Tax ID at Phuket Tax Office (byside the jail whistling.gif )

Today I have listed all taxes payed in 2013 / 2014 / 2015 (approx. THB 3,900 only, in 2015 THB 0) and I am not sure I will claim them this year because of I have heard if you claim too late you´ll be fined approx. THB 200.- per year + fee from immigration + fees for the tax letters (I am quite sure there are some), would cost approx. THB 1,000 -1,500 , so I am not sure it´s worth it for the last 3 years.

But for 2016 will be much more to claim in 2017 .............

  10. Hi, my previous post was referred to a post of a member which was mentioning about boilers, so i guessed he was meaning about a descaling, i apologize if i create confusion but due to the title of the OT i thought i could even speak not only about "where to buy cleaning tablets with reasonable price".wink.png

The companies in Thailand which could sale such as tablets are Boncafe', Aroma, Coffeeworks these are just some that could be even in your living area.

We don't sale this product due to our fully auto has different features but anyway we use a cleaning product as well not any "alternative".

    Hey Quickmill,

No need to apologise, your post was informative and helpful. The OP has demonstrated his arrogance in this topic previously, please don't take it personal. I'm guessing he's german.

    totster smile.png

    @ Quickmill :

Prima that you take my criticism sporty thumbsup.gif

But anyway Quick Mill recommends for the fully automatic coffee machines to use cleaning tabs aswell – the difference to other brands is only, that Quick Mill has only a semi automatic cleaning program, Jura, Saeco, Fagor, Bosch, Siemens etc. are providing a fully automatic cleaning and descaling program which calculates the cleaning / descaling cycles and informes the user when have to clean or descale whistling.gif

    @totster

Yes, I am German and I prefer clear words – let me quess, you don´t like Germans and you are British …… no futher comments 1zgarz5.gif

  11. A forum is for discussion and you joined this discussion with an alleged "alternative".

In fact you talked about descaling in a thread about cleaning - can happen.

Now I ask you factually what cleaning tablets listed in the Quick Mill user manual you are recommending, but you are evading only - not a good advertisement.
Sorry for my frank words, but in my eyes, you have no idea of this cleaning.

What kind of cleaning tabs are recommended for that machine http://www.quickmill.it/MyIndex.php?Lang=ENG&Menu=Prodotto&id_prod=13 and why does QuickMill / Thailand don´t offer them ?

Posssibly because this is Thailand and the water differs here to that of Germany. Note he recomended filtered bottled water.

What about water (quality) now again ? Who recommended "filtered bottled water" and where ?

Yes - water (quality) differs, but that is the topic "descaling" - not cleaning - here and now we talk about cleaning !

Cleaning tabs are necessary for remove coffee oil and not limestone.

May be I am wrong, but why should the manufacturer "Quick Mill" give different cleaning advices for the same machine but different countries ?

You are "Quick Mill" dealer - correct ? What about show us the manual which is delivered which such a "Quick Mill" in Thailand ?

    BTW (update) :

Cleaning tabs "Coffee clean" can buy from Bon Coffee / Phuket for THB 100.- (1 pack with 10 pcs.)

  14. first of all i suggest to avoid vinegar, .............

For other machine models the process is similar but in some models is suggested to altenate the descaling process between the steam/hot water wand and the brewing group head.

Thx for the good description, but sorry you are talking about descaling and we are talking about cleaning ...... that are completely different topics offtopic2.gif

Maybe he is talking about the same thing but more correctly as he is talking about using the descaling products which are specifiy used to remove lime deposits. Of course the water used can clean too.

As he says if the water is not hard there is not need for descaling and he especially points out the dangers of vinegar..

Reading between the lines this seems to indicate compounds are not needed allways too.

Personally I find most problem with the grinders not being cleaned properly regularly. Most foul coffee I have had elsehere has come from these and as the enzmes that cause the ranknes develop quickly I have even been caught at home.

Anyway a specialist like a dealer should know about the difference between descaling and cleaning + that the most fully automatik coffee machines with cleaning program need to be cleaned with such cleaning tabs.

Dear "Quickmill" please don´t let us read between the lines smile.png

  15. first of all i suggest to avoid vinegar, it's an aggressive agent for all rubber parts such as o-ring, viton, and gasket, so maybe you can save money in the descaling product but you will face costs due to a rapid deterioration of the above mentioned parts and there is the risk to drink coffee with vinegar smell.

I even don’t believe in “surrogate” descaling products, I had no prove they can achieving the result.

Just for issue a name I can say Dezcal by Urnex it’s a product available in Thailand and suitable for fully auto and semi auto machines home use.

By the way,due to different features of fully auto machines ( ex: a thermoblock instead of a boiler, copper pipes instead of teflon pipes ect ect ) I suggest to read the user’s manual before to descale your machine or contact your supplier.

If your fully auto has an auto descaling program just start it, if not ( I always prefer a manual process):

Follow the descaling product instruction for the proper dosage.

If the product is in powder, I suggest to dissolve it in warm water ( not more than 40 Celsius degrees) before to pour it in to water tank.

Start to brew water from the steam/hot water wand,( never trough the brewing group) about 100cc. ( depend even by the capacity volume of the thermoblock/boiler)

Than put the machine in idle on and wait 10 minutes to let the solution to work, repeat the process until the water tank will being emptied.

Wash the water tank with fresh water and refill it again only with fresh water than start the rinse process always trough the steam/hot water wand.

Don’t forget that the vibratory water pump ( usually installed in these machines) cannot run continuously for more than 1 minute, so run it with some pause to avoid overheat .

Limescale it’s more dangerous for machines equipped with boiler because the heater element it’s in direct contact with the water so the issue could be not only a reduced water flow rate but even a reduced temperature due to the surface of the heater element it’s “coated” by scale.

Honestly, using only bottled drinking water, the descaling should not be necessary, but for the peace of mind, somebody prefer to do it.

Another thing, don’t believe that dissolve/dilute descaling products in less water will speed the process, the risk it’s that instead to dissolve limescale ( if any) and let it pass trough the pipes, some solid particles of limescale dislodged during the fast process could choke the hydraulic path.

Take it easy and take the right time to do it.

For other machine models the process is similar but in some models is suggested to altenate the descaling process between the steam/hot water wand and the brewing group head.

Thx for the good description, but sorry you are talking about descaling and we are talking about cleaning ...... that are completely different topics offtopic2.gif

  16. While we are at it, what do you reckon is a good coffee machine with grinder on top? At work , we had 2 Siemens and even if it is German technology, they were both often broken.

Here in Thailandd they are at around 50,000 baht. What about Bon Cafe and Severin coffee machine with incorporated grinder? Are they any good?

    i have an alternative :-)

I can´t see the "alternative" only another brand coffee1.gif

Which as he is a sponsor is well worth checking out. They get good reviews internationally and he has been a sponsor here for a couple of years so is not a fly by night. I found his machines more expensive than I could afford but as good as or better than others on the market and he does ensure service is available.

I still wih he would say what to use to clean the machines....but I guess he got called away.

Yes - that´s the question - in the meanwhile I learned that "DeLonghi" doens´t need to be cleaned with such tabs - I couldn´t believe that, but after read the manual I belived it wink.png

  19. I wondered that but can't get it to engage- is their a technique?

I bought a 2012 click with combi brake and mag wheels 17,000km 34000 thb from Greenwing inc 6 month warranty

    Which month 2012 ?

For approx. THB 37,000.- can buy a 5 month old with approx. 5,000 km.

Anyway have fun with the new bike :)

The technique is pull the brake lever and tilt the small lever.
