As long as the 1st priority of the actual government the farangs with no visa are, so long will be no a change in the garbage and plastic situation.

Here on Samui I try and talk guests out of renting a bike. My talk goes along the lines of :-

 

Thailand has the most dangerous roads in the world for death in motorbike accident (WHO)

Samui is the most dangerous place in Thailand for same.

Last published figures that I saw for death in motorbike accident on Samui was more than 500 per year. This figure was ONLY for those who died at the scene of the accident. It did not include those that died later in the ambulance or at the hospital. The real number is higher.

If guests still want to rent a bike, I recommend a rental company with a conscience. The owner will ask the guest two questions. If the answer to either is no - he will not rent to them. Questions are

Have you ridden a bike/scooter before?

Can you show me a driving licence?

 

This may only be a small step towards making Samui's roads safer, but at least it is a step in the right direction.

Is really very easy here in Thailand, kill someone and pay respect at the funeral to the family...everything is forgiven... he is a killer and remains in my opinion a killer.

I'm very surprised, is look like they do police work only in Phuket, Pattaya, and Hua Hin, I know in Samui several hotels/hostels that are probably illegal....

That situation is everywhere in Thailand, canalization? Don't exist, depurators? Don't exist or like in Samui they have a depurator already long time but it was never in use like the incinerator. The authorities use it as an alibi that they do something for the environment, finally, they don't care about. All the luxury resorts even don't try to change the situation, is much easier to close both eyes and hope that the guests don't get disturbed by that rubbish. 

This will be another reason to postpone the election again. The Gen. Prayut and his govern friends will be happy about it.

...and again one driver that is not responsible for his driving attitude, in the night is strongly recommended to slow down your velocity, in this area, they do have a the moment some reparation work...

I saw at Big C in Nakhon Sawan that they do not sell Tiger anymore, Archa is still by 29 Baht per can.

What a bullshit, the peoples never har the power, always the corrupt politician and friends keep it.
