It probably sounds pretty stupid, but did you checked BigC or one of the other supermarkets. Last time we wanted to buy a cheap lid for a visiting friend and found that BigC in "Bangkok" had mostly size S and M.

checked all the shopping centers and several small shops but only ever came across L in the full face style.

Even my INDEX is on the big side for me, maybe i'll see if i can order one

I have a couple of properties in pattaya, everthing is fine when they are rented out but when they are between tennets its a pain in the ass, with deposits, sorting out bills, getting phone changed over, sometimes they can be sitting there for months ( its not as if there is a shortage)

My mrs does all that and the rent pretty much covers our household expenses but then as the properties age it gets harder to rent as there are so many new projects around.

most of the restaurant staff are pretty poorly paid so depend on tips to make ends meet.

I always tip except in small family owned shops/stands but obviously if asked for a tip i would have a different approach.

Worst case scenario is he does a border run to Aranyaprathet / Poipet and gets another 30 day visa exempt stamp.

thats worse than flying home ?? can he not just overstay and pay at the airport. ( as well as having a letter form the doc )

As for doing up old bikes for resale, that would be ok for a hobby but no go for a business idea unless you are thinking about "classic" bikes.

check out "highsidetours.com" and you can go riding on the track about 15 minutes from pattaya.... way better and safer than on the road.

surprising suzuki didn't have any of their 600/1000 liter sportbikes there.

A bar near me started having ladies nights once a week. Ladies get in for free and get half price drinks, most of the guys where seriously p1ssed off about this and the majority decided to boycott it. Ladies night lasted about 2 months because the numbers attending where so low. Quite a few women at first but not many men and then leass and less women. They then decided to have happy hours instead.

Result = every body happy

i have met many intellectual thais that go into depth on philosophy, religion, and politics. but all the thais that i have met with this intellectual capacity are all part of the same circle of friends. they are a refreshing group of people to spend time with and gives me hope for the future generations of thais.

i was stopped there about 6 months ago, (didn't have my licence with me) its ok as you can pay the fine inside so only takes 5 minutes.

its a complete pain in the ass if you're stopped in Soi Nernplubwan as you have to go all the way up to the station in north pattaya

I don't think there is any standards as I wouldn't even piss in most of the cheapie open face ones.

The INDEX full face for a 1000 baht is what I use, I don't think they are too bad for around town. The little bike shop on the corner half way down south pattaya road has a good selection.

I've also got a ARAI for 22,000 baht so i am reluctant to strap that on the bike when I go into Carrefour
