Just had a US passport delivered to me last week.
No problem with address in English.
I wasn't asked to sign for it, nor is my phone number on the envelope, so don't know how they could have called me.
Same here. They left it at the condo office.

That's not true. MOST of the people who die from CV are elderly and have other earlier problems of heart, lungs or whatever (eg diabetes). But SOME are younger and healthy before they catch CV & die (eg the Chinese doctor whistleblower who died was in his early 30s & apparently healthy [well, at least until the nice Chinese security people got their hands on him]).
As with most things in life, your genes have quite a lot to do with the outcomes.
People are letting the media scare them. I'm more worried about getting the flu.

I wonder just how many previously fit, well & with no significant past medical history people, have actually died as a direct result of contracting C19?
Zero. The media is trying to panic people.

To be safe, for something as important as my passport and since it only needs to be renewed once every 10 years, I would ask them to hold it at the Embassy for pick-up rather than trust it with Thai Post.
I tried that in December, they will only mail it back. You get a tracking number. Mine was left at the condo office.

They're getting really ridiculous now. It's just the flu.

Who wants to sit in those chairs jammed next to strangers?

It was disinfected last week.
???? A lot happens there in a week. I saw that runoff and it looked like a flood of semen.

No tour buses on beach road, no chinese at the beach or in the malls. Very nice. Not many tourists of any country.

I don't know why Taiwan is on the list when the cases are less than Thailand.
They should add USA and Spain to the list instead.
Because Taiwan is chinese

(1) Insist they provide disinfectant for hands immediately afterwards (2) Alternatively, put on gloves before placing fingers on machine.
You're kidding about the gloves right? You can't get fingerprints thru gloves.

Just tried it.
Did not work.
I was able to enter all the required data, but after clicking the final "Confirm" button nothing happened.
I even used my open, unprotected browser (Chromium v. 80.0.3987.87), so no security / privacy software was enabled. You can fill it out in 5 minutes while standing in line.

Thanks all. Laos is off my list, maybe Manila.

I for one do not understand why Thailand have so few cases that alone concerns me when the Kingdom receives over a million Chinese Tourists every year . I would be interesting to know how many Chinese are currently in Thailand there are a few in the villa next to me who came for Chinese New Year I am assuming that due to the virus they cannot get a flight home.
I haven't seEn more than a few chinese in pattaya . Where are they?

Some are reported by other falang.

TouristS still won't come. Dirty water is bad enough, but now it will carry the virus.

Why not go back to Hong Kong?

I've been there, no crowds but some really well preserved carvings. North of Sisophon.
