Especially not with their continued, xenophobic anti-foreigner rant. Might have a few visits from those still drawn to their low-rent go-go bars and cheap-trick massages but by and large, I don't think foreigners are straining to break through the turnstiles the moment Thai borders reopen.
Maybe the Chinese will come.

KFC has the Zinger. If you have not tried it, then you should zip it.
Great, bland mayonnaise... not like the sweet regular store <deleted>.
And yes, price matters.
Another cheap Charlie. ????

McD at the cheaper location on a main highway:
OLD: 108b, cheeseburger set
NOW: 155b
Uh, why the huge jump in price? Plus, despite the photo above, the 155b set was not included at the McD on the sign for "free refill", only the pricier sets. I did not ask, but I would not feel the same trying to refill my glass 4-5 times!
Pass! KFC has much better value for much less cash.
kfc doesn't have burgers. if you want something price shouldn't matter.

Just what Thailand needs, people addicted to soda, more sugar. Soon the big gulp , liter size will be common as well as even more obesity. In the USA all self service refill stations are closed for the virus. A employee will refill for you. Maybe in a new glass im not sure. And self serve ketchup pumps are gone. Makes one wonder how unsanitary theses types of things were.
7.11 has Big Gulps already. Yum! And how clean do you think the employee's hands are? ????

Poor value at any price.
Big Mac price in the UK...........68 baht.
Big Mac price in Thailand.......195 baht. (Includes dubious cola & mouthful of fries).
Under the terms of the 50% discount offered by Chancellor Rishi Sunak, a Big Mac could sell for as little as £1.69 ($2.15) in participating restaurants.
Use the McDonald's app for discounts and free stuff.

What's wrong with just joining the trailer trash in warm & sunny Florida? Don't listen to the news, climb up on top of the local ladies, cheap, once a week or so, drink cheap beer . . . . Live the good life.
My sister in Maryland says malls and restaurants are open, no riots. My cousin is in Ocean City having a good time. Big clean beach.

Honestly it seems like a very American tactic....if you can’t beat them...ban them.
All the USA marathons are open to all races and nationalities.

We've all been here for months so we should be virus free. Must be some other reason.

OK, thanks, you have to scroll in that box. I tried 3 times, it says contact immigration. I'm due the 18th so it should work but I'll try tomorrow.

and looking at me on the beach without a mask on, practicing social distancing, (which is quiet easy on empty beaches ????), or walking thru the malls wearing a mask, can you tell if I live here or if if i just arrived the day before?
We're talking about today not the future. Thais are ok with you because you aren't an outsider. If tourists arrive that might change.

living here, i do not feel shunned, ostracized or set upon by any thai, nor do any of my friends here.
Difference is, tourists will come from countries with covid, you are living in Thailand.

Please note (quote from The Nation):-
Both groups of foreign workers must obtain a certificate that facilitates entry into the Kingdom and a medical certificate (Fit to Travel).
In the case of a foreign worker with a re-entry visa and a work permit, after Immigration provides them an entry permit and visa, the foreign workers must undergo Covid-19 examination at the Disease Control checkpoint immediately and must be quarantined for 14 days at Alternate Local Quarantine (ALQ).
do you believe any of that will really happen?
