I also now use a TOT "Pet Tech" of whom came last time and installed a new stronger router and also a direct ethernet line from the router to my IPTV box of which improved the wifi download speed I was previously getting. He did not want any money but forced him to accept a tip of THB 200 which he was really pleased with !!!

Steven100, where did you get the information "now been cut and decommisioned" as there is nothing on their website or facebook page to indicate this ?? the info I received 2nd hand is that they need to re-set the settings to receive via streaming ??
-
Has any other members had problems over the last 2 days in receiving Aust Plus on their IPTV links on their XBMC ???
-
Yes Sanuk21 I think you are correct and the supplier of my Android box has pre-loaded all these IPTV channels under a separate NAVI X, I have already sent tlcwaterfall a separate pm with my suppliers details.

After you open NAVI X you will see 2nd from the top "Main IPTV channels" open this and then scroll down past all the main News channels CCN,BBC,Bloomberg etc etc and you will see "Australia Plus" to click on.
-
Problem has now been resolved by accessing site NAVI X & then main IPTV channels and then "Australia Plus" now receiving continious screening with no drop out or buffering !!!
-
Are any other members having problems viewing this channel via their XBMC & IPTV boxes as mine keeps dropping out every 10 mins and I do not have any problems with CNN,BBC etc, I am currently running on TOT 13 MBs download speed on ethernet cable.

Will27, I have investigated doing this with my 7.5ft dish and after consulting my SAT expert I am unable to move my dish any further than 160 deg east whereas INTELSAT 18 is located at 180 deg east. Also it is not possible to receive this SAT if you are located in the Chiang Mai area. I have now decided to move with the times and go over to IPTV via my internet where I am then able to receive 5 aussie channels and heaps more and same offered by Truevisions.

On another note, has anyone enquired or tried to change their Sat dish over to INTELSAT 18 from the original INTELSAT 19 ???? looking forward to your kind feedback, thanks

Doggie888888 , can you plse advise if you are receiving this service from BTV via cable or satellite dish ??? thanks
-
The only option for viewing Australia TV live at the moment is to hook up a IPTV box via your internet to your TV.

Sent an email enquiry to Truevisions yesterday and their reply is below:
> We regret to inform you that "Australia Plus" is not available on DSTV
> System at the moment.
> We, TrueVisions, provide the TV service based on two systems, satellite
> system (DSTV) and cable system (CATV). And we regret to inform you the
> inaccessibility of some channels is due to the limitation on satellite
> system.
> We do have plan to add equal number of channels on satellite system as it is
> on cable system. However, we have to be honest to you that it is yet unknown
> when we will be able to accomplish this process. We will make an official
> announcement when channels available on cable system can also be accessible
> on satellite system. We are also trying to expand the cable network to be
> available in many areas throughout the country in the future.
>
> We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Same for me here in Bangkok,no longer any access to Australia Plus, I am still waiting for some answers from Truevisions otherwise I may have to try out IPTV & the XBMC M8 unit of which includes 5 different aussie channels and can be hooked up to your TV and connected via wifi to your internet.

in IT and Computers

Received a message on my i-phone yesterday that I need to update my carrier settings,it was not received by SMS from my carrier AIS,.just appeared on my screen. When I turned on my phone today I received the same message and I am worried that if I agree to update that this could be a virus or malware. Has anyone else just recently received a similar message on their phones ???? thanks
