Same for me here in Bangkok,no longer any access to Australia Plus, I am still waiting for some answers from Truevisions otherwise I may have to try out IPTV & the XBMC M8 unit of which includes 5 different aussie channels and can be hooked up to your TV and connected via wifi to your internet.

The patches are available in all Boots Pharmacy in BKK area plus some other pharmacies,I had also tried these but if you have sensitive skin they can get very itchy and sometimes cause a small rash like they did with me.

I too have been trying to source an outlet for Nicorette gum for several months,Boots pharmacy used to stock both the 2mg & 4mg types but now have substituted this with a brand called "Nicotinell" 2mg,manufactured in Denmark and is far better than the Thai made "Nicomild-2" but is not cheap, one box of 96 pieces cost me THB 950 per box whereas previous "Nicorette" gum cost me THB 770 per box,which is still cheaper than buying in Australia at approx THB 1,300 per box. Also just for your info, a packet of Winfield Red 25,s now cost $28 a packet in Oz as per September whilst there !!!!!

Hey Guys, Just for your kind information the pre-game telecast actually starts at 2.30pm on True Visions channel 669 with interviews and pre-game entertainment via the Aust channel 9 network.

True Visions only currently supplying Australia Network to cable subscribers and not available to those with the Sat dishes so not sure if this will change with the new set up from ABC ??

As you may be aware, the ABC has been forced to terminate the service following the Australian Government’s withdrawal of its funding. The ABC has developed a new service to fulfil its obligations to broadcast internationally however, at this point in time, this does not include a widely available television channel.

We will be terminating the Australia Network service at 12.00 midnight Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday, the 28th of September. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you wish to know more about accessing blocks of our programming which we are making available for limited syndication to local networks then please address enquiries to Michael Bishay in our International Services department. Michael can be contacted at [email protected]

From previous news releases prior to the budget it was announced that the Sky network already have a replacement for this network as they were the ones that missed out on the shonky tender that Labour gave back to ABC but not sure about the actual content as yet but am sure there will be something in the Aust press fairly soon ??

Coincidently I am also currently filling in all my withdraw forms for my Aust super policy as I am now over 65 & when I enquired to them about the certification process considering I am an overseas resident they said that they would accept a copy of my front page of the passport and a copy of my Thai drivers license both certified by a Thai policeman with a copy of his police ID. This is no problem as my brother-in-law is a senior Royal Thai Police officer, also plse note that there is no Aust tax applicable if you are over 65, good luck !!!

Thanks guys,after several hours I discovered how to select Thailand as my billing address and then put my Thai credit card details into this so hopefully it,s now okay ??

I have just changed my apple id and password on my ipad with no problems but in trying to input my revised (Thai) credit card details I notice it shows my billing country as United States and I cant seem to change this to read Thailand, can anyone assist me here because even when I try and complete other details like Thai phone number etc it wont accept this info ??? thanks for any assistance !!!

Maejo Man, how long to clear each cheque at SCB ??

As the title suggests can anyone confirm that I can deposit a foreign cheque in AUD$ into my BKK Bank account as long as the name on the cheque is identical to my account name, thanks for any feedback.

Went to this office this morning (Monday) at 0900 to do my 90 day report and get another 90 days & walked out at 0910 with everything completed !!!! absolutely brilliant and so glad that I reside in Nonthaburi !!!

I am seeking kind advice and assistance for the best way to handle this situation, I am currently on a work permit expiring in mid August and will not be renewing with my company and wish to change over to a marriage visa just prior to this expiring, I am aware already of all the requirements & restrictions for this marriage visa and can comply accordingly but am wondering which is the most efficient way of processing this change.
