I was speaking with a man the other day, told him i was thinking about getting a non-im b visa, and i would have to go loas or malaysia, what ever, and he told me he knows a shop that can get you any visa you need, buy sending your passport to a thai embaay in your home country i.e mine being england, i was quick to point out that, that is well illigle, and all that type of stuff has been well cleand up since apec, he then told me that my passport dosnt get stamped out but is sent via dhl to the embassy, then on passport return i go down to cambodian boarder get stamped out and when stamp in again activate non im b visa, i am sure this cant be right but he has done it, just 5 months ago and has had extensions from immigration office and been to the boarder no probs, thoughts please, is this some type of loop hole??

i did think what happens if the passport is lost, but your not stamped out so a replacement visa wouldnt be an issue??

I hate when they yak each other and refer to me as "the falang". Even if it isn't derogatory in their eyes (which I find hard to believe) I still don't go around calling them "hey thai".

I do everytime i hear thais calling me falang or talking about me as the falang in a shop for example i immediatly speak thai with them calling them thai, i know its not a big deal but being called falang dose get my goat, their are other terms in thai for talking about or to a stranger, Especially if your in their shop giving them your bussines

Got chatting to a couple of guys from the U.K, last night, to find it was their first time to Thailand asking them if they we're here for the girls or the temples, or both, got a reply that shocked me, they tell me their here not for the girls one said, "i wouldnt dream of going with a hooker" or for the sights, but their here to buy and smoke ganja, plus look for this "yaba" drug they heard about on T.V, obviously i tried to warn them of the dangers and penalties of being caught with either drug, and just got laughed off as they wouldnt beleive it was a big deal, i soon left them to their fate, this is by far the worst reason i have heard for coming to Thailand, and to any one reading this who is planing to come here, Dont get involved with dope, it is a big deal this is not europe
