  1. A form of bribery so the masses feel good and don't riot.
  2. Better bring their army helmets and gas masks. It was so much better here with covid lock down. Even the marine life was flourishing.
  3. Thai central bank and it's USD swap line.
  4. Will be that handsome fellow with the very expensive borrowed watches. All planned.
  5. Disgusting to the max. I think if you tied a beef steak around his neck, a dog wouldn't play with him.
  6. The US did nothing in Burma and will do nothing here too. The army have the guns and Thai people don't have the guts. As foreigners, if you don't have to be here, find another country. It isn't safe.
  7. Many months or even a year or 2 as per charts. No one can give a firm answer. If SPX crashes, as technicals indicate, or if a nuclear war starts in Europe or China invades Taiwan, etc., all factors that effect currencies.
  8. Only the Thai central bank, with it's USD swap line, can move the baht currency significantly. No individual can buy or sell large amounts of baht. It is a controlled currency. The baht was heavily manipulated yesterday and prior few days as evident by the volume. In the long run, the baht will fall significantly against the USD.
  9. Pita isn't too bright for a politician. He should have maintained that the senate will remain intact and no changes will be made, when Pita was on the election trail. After he secured the PM job, then make the necessary changes. But, too late.
  10. The baht is very resilient due to the USD swap line in place with the Thai central bank, no doubt. Also, one cannot buy or sell large amount of baht. These are other ways the friendly politicians rig the game. This country is run by a handful of individuals. Don't think boycotting some businesses will be very effective at all. Plan B needs to be implemented.
  11. That article forgot to mention that the air in Thailand is so toxic most of the year that you need a gas mask.
  12. Likely find him in Monaco, on his yacht, with a blond under each arm whereas he should be standing trial for treason. What amazes me is what these people get away with and the general public always does nothing.
  13. Check to see if he has any Swiss or Singapore bank accounts. Then a trial for treason.
  14. Airfares have doubled to/from everywhere. People must have lots of money. I feel sorry for the marine life. It was really recovering during the covid lock down. And it was so peaceful strolling along the beaches without it being packed with garbage tossing, loud, obnoxious and pushy tourists.
  15. Have sex in the past year?
  16. Going cashless is cutting your own throat. Using no cash is a governments ultimate dream. They can trace anyplace you spend money, how much and what you buy. More importantly they can get an idea of your income. All this info is stored on a computer forever. Your privacy is gone forever and nothing to do with criminals.
  17. All of this because one Algerian Muslim was killed. Even more imported to Canada, England and Sweden. Read America Alone and you will understand their purpose.
  18. "Outgoing PM" and his handsome friend with the most expensive watches in the world, should be on trial for treason.
  19. There should be lots of blood in the streets. Assuming Pita gets his rightful job, I do hope he passes a law that the senate shall be elected forever.
  20. They forgot to drop the USD swap line in place with the Thai central bank where the bank can buy or sell USD at will to defend the baht. If it wasn't for this, the baht would have fallen off a cliff a long time ago. The baht is a heavily controlled currency and in no way represents the free market.
  21. Obviously Thailand is not a democratic country. The obvious will of the people is being tossed aside again. And isn't the prior military takeover of the government treason? And nothing has happened to the military to date.
  22. Recall how marine life flourished during covid when there were no tourists allowed in the country.
