Let the accident happen first, then address the safety issue. Sound familiar?
Is and always will be a 3rd world country. Nothing preventative done here.

What happens the the people that cannot travel on October 26? Will they be refunded the money that they have already paid. I think not, they should be happy that they were even allowed to apply for an STV

They don't want you/us here, how clear do they have to make it. Any plans that prayut and his cohorts come up with are just smoke and mirrors. They are trying to look as if they are trying to open up the country, but actually, they have no intention of letting western foreigners back into Thailand anytime soon.

From the article @LennyW posted, then I can see what the bank is concerned about.
The question the bank wants answering is likely to be is the land ready to be a full title deed and if so, why hasn't the current owner filed a request to the Land Department to change it to Chanote and would there be any objections if so?
I made them confirm many times that this land is in fact chanote (Nor Sor 4 Jor), and they confirmed it is indeed chanote land and you own full rights to the land.
I would think that it is a full chanote title deed, but maybe my English isn't good.

The regime has once again decided to protect the bigger guy, over the smaller guy. This will not go over well, internationally. Everyone will see right through this badly engineered PR stunt. When faced with jail, and who knows what else, many of us would prefer to "apologize".
wonder what happened to the 100,000 bail money. 3 guesses anyone?

Wow! So it's all a big lie, a big scam, a big bubble!
Welcome to Thailand, the land of lies
That is what all the meetings were about, how to get money from foreigners without actually letting them in the country. STV is the scam that they came up with. You would think that thailand would give a refund if it was legit, but none forth coming. Just a scam. There excuse is that it is just delayed but not cancelled. Can people get a refund if they cannot travel at another time. I don't think so.

This confirms EXACTLY what i was saying in a previous post that the majority Thai's will NOT want their borders open to foreign tourists at this time.
So you are speaking for the majority of Thais?? Very presumptuous on your behalf, don't you think?

Hahaha, you obviously haven't worked in the Thai education system. The only thing damaging the Thai kids education is the system itself. With a few exceptions, the only decent schools in Thailand are the international schools, which are very expensive. Private schools are a joke, they are just a business with little regard for the education of the kids and are more concerned about putting on a show for the parents. Thai education on the whole is just a cluster ..ck. Then you have the no fail policy ????

Now there's a face with a reassuring air of competence about it.
Before anyone gets too excited, the grand arrival of the first batch of STV Chinese on Thursday has now been canceled and a new committee, headed by General Natthaphon Nakphanic, will be formed on Friday to figure out some way to relief tourists of their money without actually letting the filthy bastards into the country.
"Confusion reigns" All things normal in the Thai government then.

So, my question is, if you are a citizen of a dirty country but reside in a clean country can you get a Sexually Transmitted Visa or not? Are you considered dirty by nationality or by country of residence?

The English newspaper story “based on a true story”.
Is the writer in Thailand ? Or just translate thai story and make sound it the wife?
The guy in the forest since 6 pm. The rescue guys find him 9.30 am next day.
IMO sound like he crazy guy (maybe yaba)
paranoia.
If wife kill him why she call rescue ream 40 people with drone help find him?
Do these people have absolutely no shame? Over a dozen people gathered around a dead body for a photo op. Would be funny to see there reaction if he suddenly moved.

There is no such thing as "new normal" Something is either normal or it is not. This is just more scaremongering from someone trying to stay relevant.
