Are they many tourists going to the Lumpini Youth Centre?

You're going to be tired from a flight, just take the taxi

Why did your mate wai someone clearly younger than him first? Especially after she just waiied the group. That's not how that works at all, obviously she was waiing the entire table since you are all older than her.

The Navy in this country is only second to the Army when it comes to corruption in this country. The good thing for them is they fly under the radar a lot and get away with <deleted> like buying outrageously expensive submarines and siphoning off budgets left, right and centre and they can't even have enough lifejackets available for their men.

I wonder how much each of them got for moving to BJT, 5 or 10 million? -
There actually is one such place that I believe is near the ISB school but I can never remember its name. It's essentially a little American bubble. It sounds to me like hell on earth.

In need of an excellent periodontist in Bangkok
sleepwalker999 posted a topic in Health and Medicine
Does anyone have any recommendations of excellent periodontists in the Bangkok or Nonthaburi areas? I went to Asavanant Clinic twice last year based on a recommendation and was very impressed by the doctor however when I went back 6 months later and she had disappeared. The replacement seemed very inexperienced especially considering the outrageous price for a checkup. Would like to try someone new. -

People tend to freeze up in these situations, I find this article's insinuation that people doing their weekly shopping are somehow to blame for a murder a bit disturbing to be honest.

i am convinced that 99% of the reason he has a hard time with his visa extension is because the job he has at his school appears to be largely made up. -

Looking for advice on visa run
sleepwalker999 replied to sleepwalker999's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I got in touch with an agency this morning who told me that I could apply for a '60 day family visiting' visa without leaving Thailand. Does anyone know anything further about this? The agency don't seem interested in the task as I presume it wouldn't net them a lot of cash. -
Looking for advice on visa run
sleepwalker999 replied to sleepwalker999's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes, I have been doing the maths over the last few days and honestly 20k is the absolute minimum this will cost me between two PCR tests, two flights, hotel for at least two nights and a hotel when I get back to Thailand. It's doable but the whole process is an absolute pain in the <deleted>. I would really appreciate it if you could pass on info regarding the 25k visa options. Thanks for your post, it's helpful to know what alternative options are out there. -
Switching to a new job has thrown quite a headache my way, my current Non-B will expire on March 31st and I will not begin at my new workplace until May 2nd. Looking for advice on what would be the best place to go to obtain a 60 day tourist visa to tide me over for the 4 or 5 weeks until my new workplace sorts me out. In the past I have just visited Vientiane and that has always been an easy and straightforward trip. From what I gather now the only way to visit Laos is through a tour group and it doesn't sound particularly feasible unless someone can suggest otherwise. I am presuming that Phnom Penh is right now the only viable option?

Work permit to open a Bank account ?
sleepwalker999 replied to Jackcwba's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I just opened up an account with Kasikorn the other day, I went in on Monday and they had some pathetic rule where you had to book an appointment in order to open an account so I had to go back the following day. It took about 25 minutes altogether on the appointment date.
