Our company has 400 over staffs and the rule is no one gets advanced payment on wages.

We do all have a Krungsri bank account and have a Krungsri cc. Cut out date is around the 3rd or 4th each month so if we max our cards around the 15th and pay back on the 30/31 each month, their will be no interest as long you pay back before the cut out date the full amount.

I asked once the CEO why their is no advance policies and he replied by 400 staffs, they will all want to have an advance, so the policy is no advance and we do have 30 expats in our company and the rule is for everyone.

But in ur case i completely understand:if all 400 employers aske for an advance salary,what a mess.

I saw on u youtube that Air crash investigation already did one(maybe 2)episodes about the Malaysia MH370,but also them went to a dead end.They already spoke about cyber-terrorism........

I remember that in Pattaya was the boss himself that every 15th of the month askd if someone needs an advanced salary..........but i never care cause i never thought to ask and need it.

NancyL.i am leaving here already for the past 15 years:i am not so novice of Thailand.I always worked without the problem of asking advanced salary,but you know:kids grows up,little car need to be changed and so and so and so....So i just ask how it works IF one day i will ask for an advanced salary

9 or 10 hate postings in 1 hours is kind of a record, why you guys don't show up at the airport too, offer 300 Bt to Immigration to let you insult people that overstayed. That should probably make you feel good.

What we should do is answer the question by the OP. Personal attacks and sometimes downright rudeness are not needed. The rules are there to be followed but on occasion things go wrong and people need help not sarcastic comments.

Completely agree with you bendywire:but instead help when the"damage"is already done,why don't try to prevent it with helps and suggestion?If u surg thaivisa u can read 4 years overstay,NINE years overstay etc etc:are those also occasion when things go wrong?

I don't know if this is a good news or bad news. I really encourage farang opinion on this one. Honest opinion please.

I have 3 children and all those news makes me quite think that the thai prison rules,beaten by death,should be a common matter for those animals.But after,thinking deeply and long,what about if,ma like him,was really innocent?Anyone deserve a trial.We are in 2014,not in the ancient Sparta.I visted somehow 3 thai prisons and whe u come inside,no matter of what u are innocent or not,if they want kill u......you done

It is up to your line manager and how crucial you are to the organisation.

Normally, you'd need to be a full employee for a period to enjoy all of the company's staff benefits. Seeing that you have just joined, and may still be on probation, the odds are stacked against you.

As your company is "filled with good people", why don't you try to borrow from one of them?

As i told i found that job.Is a good job,fill with good people.I wondering about the fact that,maybe.sometimes,i have the necessity to ask some money in advance from my salary:is that possible in Thailand?There are rules about that or its just up the company to help employers with advanced salary?

You could also ask any of the Disco Bus companies to bring it. Official bus perhaps too. They carry all kind of stuff. Easy.

I ask already too few bus company,but all told me that the pcx is too big to carry on the bus..............i think i will take a ride with it just few days before start work in Chiang Mai

To obtain a Non-Imm "O" visa based on marriage, you've always had to provide a map of your house and photos of yourself and wife outside it, clearly showing the house number. Morons on this site do not read the post properly. LEGAL stay is allowed, OVERSTAY is not. How difficult is this to understand???

I can confirm that they are no longer issuing 30 day stamps at this border. I went today and was denied. This was my 3rd in a row, not my 4th. I was told in no uncertain terms that they are simply not doing 30 stamps here at all anymore (LOL Thailand, thanks for the warning!). I was not even able to get 7 days so I am pushed into overstay. Avoid this border unless you have an actual visa.

Bangkok tomorrow and a flight home. It's been fun Thailand.

Heard today that as from the 1st of the month it is only open for Thai and Myanmar citizens and to other nationals with a visa for Myanmar already in their passport.

What a bad decision:with border or visa run they pretty make a good amount of money.What is the point to open just to thai people or people with already a local visa,instead in that border there is nothing,and the nearest touristic point is about 5 hours driving?
