I was at the airport last week (around 8pm), the usual (200 baht to anywhere in the city) airport taxis (limousine as they call it) with the shop/desk by the arrivals hall was closed! I thoroughly recommend you use grab or bolt app. and you will know the price before you agree to accept. Will certainly be less than 200 baht. As a last resort, there are usually 'private car taxis' or sometimes tuk tuks touting for business in the arrivals hall.

I suspect they need to employ a better Fortune Teller. The one they currently have appears to be telling them only what they want to hear.

One of the requirements for renewal in Udon is a residence certificate from immigration, are you sure you can renew your licence in a province other than where you live ? I did my renewal about 18 months ago and had to do the colour blind test, and brake reaction test (red and green lights). I hate that damned peripheral test machine too where you have to say (Guess) when the two matchsticks are aligned !! ????

I said the same about the tourists, but the army General thinks he knows what the tourists want, more than the tourists do. Whatever they came for, at least they came, but forcing your vision of how YOU think they should spend their 2 weeks here can only spell (even more) disaster ????
