  1. Just so you know, I don't spent my money buying the 9 units and not knowing what I'm buying/investing in.Its all about playing it smart and get lucky. It has work in my favor so far. I agree that there might be some oversupply in the market right now,but then there are also some serious money pouring in than 5 years ago. Chiangmai got great potential for developments compared to other big cities in Thailand and alot of people are noticing it.

  2. Just so you guys know, all the units in the condo has indeed been sold out. All that is available at the moment are units being sold by the first owner themselves who tries to make a small profit. Call it a panic buy or whatever, but you don't have to be smart to see that Chiangmai is currently booming. I myself owned a few units at Supalai and i know first hand how well it sell a month ago.

  3. i have a new apartment unit at Jigsaw Condominium in Chiangmai Business Park ( near Big C Extra superhighway opposite the German Brewery) for rent. Its fully furnished with swimming pool and fully-equipped gym. Please PM me if you're interested.

  4. I took my exam in Australia when i was studying in Brisbane about 12 years ago.I'm a different field of work now in Chiangmai and honestly, I don't think CPA counts for anything here unless you work for an Australian or foreign company that recognises CPA. Why do you want to do your CPA here in the first place? Are you working in Thailand for an accounting firm that requires the qualification?

  5. Chiangmai expats group play badminton every Tuesday and friday at the Chiangmai municipal stadium from 2pm to 4pm.The charges are 20baht per pax but they uses plastic birdies. You can buy good and better ones from the proshop.Bring your own gear.

If you are a decent player, there's many other places in town that you can join in and play with others. Its more competitive. For eg. Tunghotel, municipal stadium, @CNX Badminton Court, CMU. You can also rent the above mentioned courts by the hour. Its to your convenience.

I'm a regular player here, so PM if you need more info about it.

  6. I'm an American chinese living here and i'm enjoying my life here so far. I look so much like thai that not many Thais believe that i'm actually not. I even speak decent thai when I'm in the mood. Its funny to see all the confusion in their faces. Even foreigners are confused sometimes when they interact with me. My point is you are who you are and no matter whether you're liked or disliked, life is great. Live it to the fullest.

  7. you can come and join me instead. I'm playing at the newly opened @CNX Badminton Center near city hall in the first ring road. I played at least 6 times a week and I'm pretty sure that i'm up to the standard that you're looking for.

  8. Hi there,

There's a new badminton center opening in town called @CNX Badminton Center. It is situated near Chiangmai city hall on the first ring road. I can provide you with the map if you PM me. You might want to check it out.

    Dave.

  9. Plastic surgeons / playground..........plenty of options.

If you think my OP was to poke fun on the legend, then you're wrong because your reply is not funny even if you think it was. Did he abuse you before?

  10. Hi,

I'm sure everybody has acknowledged the devastating news of the passing of MJ. I'm just wondering if anyone know where I can pay tribute to MJ in Chiangmai? Thanks alot.

    A fan,

  11. Hi guys,

I just realised that TrueVision doesn't have the full coverage on the Beijing Olympics. Its very disappointing to all the sports fan here. However, I just found out that DSTV from South Africa has the full coverage of the sporting event in HD.PERFECT! I know that some of the channels from DSTV are available on WETV here, so is it possible to get all the DSTV channels here in Chiangmai? They have 15 sports channel, for god sake! I would really appreciate if someone could give me some recommendations or ways to get DSTV into the comfort of my home. Thanks alot in advance.
