I live in wat umong area.My WeTV signal reception is very poor as well.It was frustrating when I wanted to watch Euro 2008 matches on the SA channels. I just couldn't believe the matches aren't on True Visions.What a shame....

By the way, does anyone have any ideas if the signal would get better if I installed a signal booster and where to get one?

Chiangmai is not the only city suffering from the downturn.Everywhere else in the world are having the same problems; inflation, rocketing fuel prices, etc. If I have to compare the cost of living between Arizona and Chiangmai, the latter will always prevail. That's why I'm still here.

I bought a washing machine and a LCD TV from Siam TV about 2 months ago. They told me that they will send it to my house at 4.00pm that afternoon (I bought the stuff in the morning).I went home happily and anxiously waiting for my stuff to arrive. As hours go by, I kept waiting, up until 5.30pm.I got a bit frustrated then and I ask my girlfriend to give them a call asking what's wrong with their 'promised delivery time'. The operator told my girlfriend that the delivery is on its way. 7pm- still nothing.I've been waiting at home for 3 hours already and I'm losing my patience.I ask my girlfriend to call them again, and yet again, 'it's on the way'.I almost went back to the store asking for a refund.....Finally, the 'magic' truck' carrying my stuff arrives at 8.30pm.I was so pissed that I confronted them, I'm sorry but I just couldn't hold it anymore. I couldn't do anything all afternnon waiitng for them and even have to skip my dinner hour.Their excuses was, 'sorry, but we have alot of delivery and have to deliver to lamphun as well'. My answer: Then, don't fuc_in tell me that you guys will come at 4pm.

It's not legal to sell alcohol but nothing wrong with consuming. Buy what you need before the weekend.

Thanks alot, guys. i subscribed for UBC less than 6 months ago.I"m not sure if it's digital, but I think it is. Shall I go to the electronic store and get myself a HDMI cable and connect it from the UBC receiver to the tv? I"m sorry if I ask stupid questions, but I'm not a gadget junkie. I bought a 42" LCD TV recently and I'm not sure if I should regret buying it. I have both Wetv and Truevisions services. Well, to the problems now. The signal reception is really poor.I thought if I buy a LCD tv, the quality supposed to be crystal clear, but instead I'm getting a blur viewing from both wetv and UBC. Is there anything wrong with my tv or is it just the poor reception of the signal? Is it also because UBC hasn't got into HD quality just yet? Should I get myself a signal booster to improve the viewing quality? I really need some advices here. thanks alot.

It's a while since I played 'Badders', but I may have a racket somewhere, if it hasn't rotted away. I play tennis at the moment, but an alternative for the rainy days is not a bad idea. I don't know what it stands for, but I've seen people saying 'PM me' ?

I did play a few times at the sports club on Tunghotel road and found that they were a friendly group (all Thai). There didn't seem to be any need to be a member and like all courts in Thailand, they were, by definition, Thai prices!!

Cool........By the way, where can we play? I would be happy if you can arrange a time and date to play as well. You might want to bring in a few more guys to play as I don't want you to be disappointed although that I think I can play 'well'. I'm better at tennis.

No, not really.I'm pretty convinced that it's not the chopper though.I never really believes in the myth of UFO sightings, but after last night, all this might change.It's simply unbelievable!

there was a huge chopper out at 3-3:30am with massive searchlights on, maybe that's what you saw ?

You guys might think that I sounds ridiculous but I'm very convinced that I actually saw an UFO around Chiangmai last night.It happens at around 3.00am when I was on my back from a club with my buddy. While we're riding on the bike on Huay Kaew Rd, I saw something the size of a moon, more to like an oval shape and probabaly a big bigger, rightly in front of us.It was pretty bright and I actually thought that it was a full moon at first.but then, after like 5 seconds, the 'moon' disappeared in the dark of the night.

Here are the facts to support my story:

1) I'm not pissed/drunk in any way.I had like 5 whisky coke last night( Thai style of mixing).I'm a decent social drinker, so that wouldn't even be close of getting me drunk.

2) I'm not on drugs, or hallucinating in any way.

3) That 'thing' that I saw is not a moon as moon doesn't disappears in a flash.It wasn't an airplane or a 'krathong'.And certainly it wasn't the lights from a tower or anything.

4) I'm not the only witness to this ' bizarre' sighting. My buddy saw it as well.

Have any of you witnessed it as well last night.How significant is this? Am I going crazy for any reasons?
